If you can get this product for under ten pounds then go for it. It is ok at that price. At the rrp, forget it.

My daughter was given this as a present. The camera build quality is appalling. Companies give away cameras that are better than this. The usb connector broke before we had a chance to upload her pictures. Fortunately she already has a decent camera so she has been able to use that. However...

We were able to import JPG pictures from our computer. This is good as you can incorporate images other than just photographs. However, despite what it says in the manual it doesn't seem possible to import video (AVI) files from your computer via the software. We did manage to get AVI files of our own into the journal ... My son absolutely loves playing with this toy but by the end of the first week of having this toy it stopped working. The wires inside keep coming loose and disconnecting. So sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. So that was a bit dissapointing. Now, 4 months on, the head has snapped off and one of the wheels has fallen off! This toy hasn't been mistreated just played with every day. This is a brilliant little vacuum if it stays in one piece.

I bought two of these - one for my daughter and one for my neice for Christmas - for 19.99 and 26.99 each. What a disappointment!! The switch for the microphone on both doesn't work, there is no makeup - even though it says on tha packaging there is. All it does is plays snippets of 3 songs, and the mouth moves in time. Needles to say, neither of the two girls have bothered to play with this.

I bought this for my 2 yr old and she loves it. It came packed in a box and needed no tools to fix. Everything just clicks into place. It is of very good quality and durability. The good thing is for me that i wanted something which was similar to my household things as my little girl is always getting in my pantry and this toy does the job.
If there is a negative is is so slight....a small paper bag comes with it to act like a bin, but anyone who has kids would know that lasted 3 seconds before it got torn to pieces. Apart from that an excellent product for the price.

The toy itself is really beautiful - like something from an Enid Blyton book! Sturdy and well made with lovely vibrant colours. Well worth the money compared to plastic toys.
