The new Discovery 3 based on an all new platform chassis and bigger and better in every way than the previous model. Is a huge step ahead for the then Ford owned company, It's the king of 4x4's of the mid range. It's only inches shorter then the Range Rover and only a little cheaper to buy. This model the largest R/C car I have ever seen has more gadgets than any R/C car also. It has a full interior with opening doors which is another feature I have never seen. Most R/C cars have smoked windows to hide the mechanics so they look like mere toys. Even the bodyshell looks just like the Disco and is made from injection moulded plastic. Nice racing car set; a source of pleasure between me and my friend who lived down the road.More passion than even in the most sophisticated Xbox or PC game. Very nostalgic but the game takes time to master as in the controls and negotiating the curved banks.

Made of what seems to be a single bubble thickness of old style poly-styrene. Not the new more resilient EPP foam that can take impacts, this mini flyer is prone to self destruct in the first few days (if not as in the case of my 9year old, on the first day). Have fun and be sure to keep the celo tape close to hand and by all means... Handle with Kidd Gloves!!!

These blades are a necessity for anyone with a compatible model helicopter. These helos are great fun to fly, oh yes!

But - unlike many of the smallest helos (Picoo, eg) the blades break pretty regularly. This is because there is lots more power in the blades, and not a lot more strength. Also, the blades can 'clash' when landing a bit hard (not crashing, but the results can be as bad) when the upper blades touch the lower ones. Ouch!

Changing blades is a chore, so not a lot of fun to be had there....

Most of us do need lots of blades - especially when learning. It is no disgrace to
break blades when learning. Happens to us all.
