These pens are fantastic. My little boy is 2 and he has no trouble with these. We gave up on crayons and pencils as all he wanted to do was chew on them when teething but he has never tried that with these. The tips are pads and not actually pen nibs which means when he stabs onto paper it causes no damage unlike nibbed pens where the nib would disappear inside. The best thing of all though - superwashable. It doesnt matter how much he gets on his hands or other surfaces, this ink wipes off very easily using baby wipes or just soap and water. I tried a supermarkets own brand of these and regretted it as struggled to wash the ink from his hands. Scattergories

Scattergories is a really good game. Basically, you roll a dice which gives you a letter from the alphabet. Each player then individually works through a category card which gives them a list of categories, and they have to think of something for each category which begins with the letter. This is then repeated with a different letter but the same categories. Then, in round 3, there is an open ended category, and each player has to write down as many things beginning with the rolled letter as they can think of. In each round, you only score points if no other players have got the answer.

Aqua Beads Art Deluxe Set

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter, as she enjoys playing with beads. Unfortunately, the beads in this are very small and fiddly for her to place.

It took her over an hour to make one complete design and then when sprayed with water to stick the beads together it warped and then broke apart. I wouldn't recommend this product.

My daughter also has the Hama beads set as well which you iron to join the beads together and that is a much better product than these poorly designed aquabeads

I bought this for my son's 2nd birthday and it was an instant hit. Now nearly a year later it is his favourite toy and he can't put it down. He loves putting the track together and pushing the trains around making up stories. We've recently bought him some more track which was urgently needed. With Christmas coming he keeps asking for more track still and more of the trains to add to his collection. It is very durable and an excellent toy to take away as the trains and the track all pack away inside. I will definitely be buying more of the 'take along' playsets to add to this one.
