Great product, the writing stays on pages until washed. It probably smudged if the pages were not dry as other customer commented on. Daughter has just turned 6yrs and loves trying to write her own stories and slots in her own pictures. Thumbs up.

This is a great toy, whoever designed it must have done it through the eyes of a child. The detail is impressive and so is the functionality. I think it offered great value for money and I think its great!

My 20 month old has played with his every day for the last 6 weeks. Yes, it comes apart when you don't want it to sometimes - which is a little annoying- but like others have said - we didn't expect anything else for £9.99.
He pushes it around, puts it back together and points at the sections and likes to talk about who rides in each part. It is accurate and solidly built having survived being dropped on a unforgiving floor most mealtimes.
Whenever the programme is on he likes to get it out and sits with it. We think it was £10 well spent!!

My six year old son has astounded me with this game. Not only can he beat me hands down at it, he has memorised all the info contained in the cards.
This simple little game has fired up his imagination and play is often interupted by questions on weight, height etc as well as the expected history and dinosaur queries. He has played this game so often, the cards have become a little dog-eared (to the point where he can recognise my cards from the bends and marks and chose a category that he knows he can trump me with!) So in the interest of fair play, I am buying him a new set.
I thoroughly recommend this game, along with the Space Top Trumps. For a few pounds you will have a fun, educational game that your child will never get bored ... Read More:

The game itself is brilliant and educational. It really helps with childrens reasoning and deduction skills as well as verbal skills for young children. Most games can be won with the question does he or she have facial hair (ie. moustache or beard) though.

The problem with this version of the game is it is far too flimsy and breaks very easily making it totally unplayable. The thin plastic surrounds holding the cards break and the cards fall out. It is so lightweight and poorly constructed that it is difficult for children too keep the right cards up. One small glance sends everything tumbling. The many clip on card holders are also very difficult to clip in and keep attached.

Roary the Racing Car - Remote Control Roary

My 4 year old son bought this car with his birthday money.
It works intermittently, and when it does (as previous reviews have noted) it drives very slowly and has a huge turning circle.
Ultimately, it is little more than a static plastic replica of Rory, so not worth paying more than a fiver for!

I am another person who remembered having lots of fun with this as a kid.
Bought one for my 4 year old who had a great time moving the pieces, putting arms for noses etc for about 3 days. Since then he has hardly touched it and I can't remember why I have such fond memories either.
Maybe, compared with current toys, its scope is a bit limited. I understand there are add-ons which would increase the permutations but, still, it seems a bit repetitive.

This is ( in my opinion ) one of the greatest board games ever. It is so enjoyable and it is very educational because you really have to strain your brain if you want to do well. I reccomend this and Monopoly as the two greatest board games.

The game is played like this, somebody has been murdered and each player gets a group of cards and then 3 unknown cards are put in a package in the middle. The aim is to find out what those cards are, they must be a person, a weapon, and the room the murder was commited in. At the players turn he/she rolls the dice and then can go into one of the rooms, they can then say, for example 'I suspect colonel mustard, in the drawing room, with the candle stick', the room they say must be the room they are in.
