Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Stacking Action Blocks

I was given these blocks as a gift for my sons 1st birthday he is now 4 and his little brother is now in the front room playing with them! they have great appeal as single blocks, lots to look at on each but stack them up and bang the tops & the dial spins, my first boy spent hours just spinning the silver dial around and my youngest who is 11 months does the same!! Great value toy which will get lots of use for years to come.

I echo the sentiments of the other reviewers but would like to add that this toy smells great (it has a subtle lemony scent) and makes a really unusual noise which is kind of like the clink two glass bottles make when they touch each other.

I read that other people have had problem with this monior but we have used tomy monitors on all 3 of our kids and are currently using this one on our 7 month old and we have NEVER had problems. We have clear reception 24/7. It has the advantage of 2 settings, 1 you can have it turned on constantly or 2 where it will only come alive when your baby cries, it has multi volume levels and channels, as well as cry reacting lights and brilliant roaming range, we used that when our son was smaller and we had to nip out into the garden, no problems. In tomy we do trust and always will do, why pay stupid money when this does what you NEED and that is to hear your baby cry!

Tomy Choo Choo Loop

When I first got this, I was initially disappointed at the size. The picture doesn't really give you an idea, and I suppose I was thinking the train itself would be chunky and big. In fact, it's a fair size, but quite dinky. The loop, when setup, is about 12" across and the train is about 3" long.

This is quite entertaining for the kids. Mine got it when she was 9 months old, and she still plays with it, even if it's only for a few minutes at a time.

We have the previous 'orange' model of this monitor (before Avent paired up with Philips to make this model), and it has been absolutely fantastic for our 1st child. So we bought this new 'blue' Avent/Philips model for our 2nd child, thinking it would be identical. However, rather than provide a continuous link to the baby's room, it only kicks in when a sound is made. This means that you can miss the first part of the noise. Hardly reassuring. In fact, we have heard our child cough from the room below, and the monitor has not picked it up, and has only kicked in AFTER the cough. I purchased this chair because i have large babys that usually reach the chairs limits before the age the chair is for.
I thought it would be strong but was deeply disappointed. Definately not the normal quality I expected from FP. The seems in the chair are tearing already and my son is only 4mths.
At birth there wasnt enough support so i would purchase a head support to use as my son slumps in to one side when a baby.
The vibration fuction is noisy and can become annoying at times.
This is a 5th child and this is definately money wasted as mine is now having to be replaces already.

Fisher-Price Sit-to-Stand Giraffe Activity Tower

My daughter is 9 months and has had the giraffe for about a month. She stands up using it no problem and immediately stops crying and turns to it if I start playing with it and she is upset. We had no problems at all and all her cousins (1yr to 4yrs) love playing with it too.

We bought this baby monitor for use while staying with my parents. We went for something cheap but have been very impressed with the quality of sound and range of this one. Worked well even though we were downstairs and several rooms away. Baby unit needs to be plugged in but parent unit can be plugged in or used in battery mode. You need to buy 3 AA batteries for it though.
