We bought this because we wanted a visual reminder in our home of the real meaning of Christmas, and we also wanted a robust and child friendly version so that our kids could play with it.
This nativity set is absolutely beautiful and as it's made from wood it will last a life time. The figures are beautifully painted and are a good size and shape for children to play with. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

I bought this for my 6yr old and he has played it a little but finds it slow and a bit boring. I had a go and found that each time you want to play a race, it gives you about 3 minutes of instruction on how to move your car, even if you've played before! And you can't skip it! Very boring. Even when you get started in the race of your choice, the game is very slow and to be honest a bit boring too.

I was going to buy this for my son for his 1st birthday but my mother in law wanted to get it. Being a complete techno phobe she drove half way round the UK trying to locate this as it was in 2005 the most popular toy to buy. As soon as i assembled it i could see what poor quality it is and had i purchased this myself i would have taken it back for a refund straight away but due to the effort she had put in i didn't feel i could. As per the comments above the feet fall off, the light pull comes away in your hand, the orange ball shoots on the side fall off also as does the roof. If you can get this product for under ten pounds then go for it. It is ok at that price. At the rrp, forget it.

My daughter was given this as a present. The camera build quality is appalling. Companies give away cameras that are better than this. The usb connector broke before we had a chance to upload her pictures. Fortunately she already has a decent camera so she has been able to use that. However...
