My daughter had this for her 6th Birthday and just loves it. Has lots of pre programmed tunes to play along too, includes Happy Birthday. Full instructions on how to learn to play the drums. My daughter just loves to play along with the tunes, which makes the drumming bearable with the tune in the background. Good durable toy, which can be packed back down into box when not in use.

I thought these were gimmicky but have to admit the two-minute tunes do a great job of getting my kids to brush their teeth for the right length of time. The pressure-sensitive sound levels seem to get them to try to brush harder too. I'd prefer them to use a brush with a smaller, oscillating head but this is the next best thing in my view.
