The most important aspect of this tuner is that it is not driven off sound. It clips onto the neck of the guitar and uses the vibrations in the wood to measure the frequency of the note. The bonus to this means there is no interference from other noises around you. Should you be in a band or full orchestra they won't effect your tuning. For an electric guitar it doesn't even need to be turned on.

The negatives? There aren't many. The accuracy of the tuning is good and easy to understand. Sometimes it picks up an E as a B due to harmonics confusing it, however as long as the B it comes up with is in tune, you're ok!
