My parents bought this for my 20mth son and he loves it. He has played with it almost solidly since they bought it and doesn't seem to be getting bored with it. The constant choo choo may drive you mad, but they will love it.

I found the set pretty durable. How much time the cars spend on track is down to your skill and co-ordination.

I think you have to accept that eventually cars will break but they are reasonably durable and the set has had a fair bit of use. I am still on the original cars but one has the top held on with a bit of tape. You can by replacement cars so do not panic.

My 4 year old is pretty good with it and we have had a lot of fun.
