You get what you pay for and on my ipod mini I thought the sound was terrible, really tinny. If you look at where the sound comes out, it is a plastic cover with rather large holes. I was dissapointed for the quality of a JVC product. Nice design but avoid at all costs. For an alternative spend a few more quid and get some sennheiser headphones. You get some models for less than a tenner.
