Bob the Builder Friction Scrambler & Trailer & Bob

This seemed like a great toy, but unfortunately my nimble-fingered 3-year old gets furious with the fact Bob won't sit properly on the quad bike and that the trailer keeps detaching itself. There are 2 major design flaws inherent - the manufacturers need to work on Bob's grip mechanism and also with the trailer's hook - it is way too floppy and fiddly for many an adult, let alone a little one! My boy has ended up attaching a different ELC trailer and putting Bob in the back of it lying down, telling me he is tired after lots of building. I regularly have to intervene when he is playing with it to reduce frustration levels and would definitely not recommend it to potential buyers. It's nothing like the quality of the rest of the gang! Wooden Thomas & Friends: Henry the Green Engine

We bought a few of these trains for our three years old as he is a Thomas fan and completely obsessed. I thought I was investing in a quality toy that would give him pleasure for some time.
Whilst one year on, he still loves playing with Henry, Gordon and Thomas, I'm very disappointed by the quality. All the trains have become very chipped. The paint peels off incredibly easily. They also do not ride round the track very smoothly and when he connects them all together to make a long train they quickly derail. He's recently played with his freinds Brio set which seems to be much better quality.

Tomy Thomas & Friends Motor Road & Rail: Pull Back 'n' Go Train Set

Most children who are Thomas fans would love this set. We have great fun trying to keep all the pullback trains running at once (we have three extra), and swapping the points round so they avoid each other.

It's easily assembled, doesn't take up much storage space and apparently you can use the battery trains on the track, if you get tired of doing the work.
I shall definitely buy some other sets (this one has a tunnel and a station) to add on to this. A good value, good starter set.

I'm with the other poster, it deserves a better picture!
