The quality is good but it is really too fiddly. The 3 figures on the boat have little sticky-out arms and there is a disc that the thin little legs stand on. Compared, say, with a Fisher price figure, they do not offer the scope for imaginative play that I would have liked and I wonder how long they will last! The sound effects are cute. Packaging required a PhD to work out. I felt it was poor value for money, jumping on the Peppa Pig bandwagon but not really well thought out as a trigger for imaginative play. The CD I bought at the same time was a better buy.

I bought this toy for my baby girl when she was 3 months old and it is most definately her favourite toy. It has provided her with hours of entertainment and it never fails to hold her attention. It can be sensitive but this does not seem to bother my daughter...in fact she loves it. She is now nearly 7 months old and she still loves it.

I wanted a baby doll for my 3 year old daughter that wet itself, drank a bottle, could go in the bath & didn't need batteries so this ticks all those boxes and she loves it.

It's true that the food is very runny & a bit pointless although we have managed to make it poo & it only arrived 2 days ago. True, the arms are hard to squeeze, so just give the doll too much water & it'll cry no problem (as well as wet itself). You are supposed to put the bottle in the mouth to quite a depth & it's awkward to get the doll to sit on the potty, so the other reviews are technically correct - it just depends on how hung up you want to get about these things. Mr Potato Head Optimash-Prime

Let's be honest. These novelty potato heads (Darth Tater et al) are not aimed at kids at all. They are aimed squarely at young adults who have warm and fuzzy memories of the characters they portray.

Hasbro have done it again with Optimash Prime. Whilst my nephews just don't get it at all, I couldn't wait to get one of these sitting on my desk at work! Dads will buy it "for the kids" but secretly it's for themselves!

This is a toy that is likely to be never played with but will still give you loads of fun. You will either get people telling you how sad you are (usually by woman) or people having a good laugh with it (obviously the men).

Great fun and a bargain price. Brilliant.

Leapfrog - Alphabet Pal

I bought this for my one year old niece and made the mistake of showing it to my husband. After 5 minutes, he decided that our 2 month old baby loved it and that Isabel couldn't possibly have it.
At 3 months old now, Bobby is facinated by it and is just starting to reach out for toys. I can't wait for him to get into it and I'm sure he will love playing with it for a good while.

N.B. The first thing my intelligent, mature husband tried was making it say a 'rude' word (e.g. pressing 's' and 'x' in quick succession). It giggles and says 'that tickles! He's now trying to find as many words as he can to tickle it!

This toy is excellent, certainly of an entertainment value to young babies with an active mind and yearning for learning. The ability to expand and add more 'games' also means this is a must for development of the young mind. Amusing children with a PS3 would be of concern but this is aimed at young minds with a grasp of the basics of education at an early age. Don't buy it if your child is going to be of the PlayStation generation, Do Buy it if your child is going to grow up with any degree of an educated upbringing!
