I bought a meeba with the impression its like a tamagotchi with a cuddly toy in it, which it is like. Though it doesn't require your constant attention so theres no looking after it while the kids are at school or annoying beeps cos its pooped. You move your character through its home with the left and right buttons and moving the circle(ish) shape up and down. The graphics are simple, similar to a tamagotchi but this does so much more one buttons allows you to play pinball, another a plug hole rescue game and the third on that side is a game that changes through the stages of growth - one point its catching hula hoops to getting fire out of a cannon. The Beano Comic Maker Kit

Got this for my son (then 8) last Christmas, as he is an avid Beano fan and he had a lot of fun with it. The included felt tips were good quality, as was everything in the kit and there were enough stickers and sheets included to last him a few months. One small criticism would be that he soon ran out of background stickers but that actually encouraged him to be more inventive with his drawing. Highly recommended - lots of fun for us parents too when reading the surreal story ideas children come up with.
