My children had been looking forward to this for ages. They have seen it on the tv and thought they would be making lots of golden coins at christmas. I wasn't so sure but as they were so set on it I bought it them for christmas. What a waste of money my children sadly learnt that the reality of what these advertisers show on the tv is not in fact the reality of trying to make them yourself. Even as I sat with them they were bored to the fact we made two coins and it's never been touched since. It took forever to melt the chocolate then it had to go into the fridge. Children like to be able to make a product and see it in one go not over a period of days. This needs to be clear when advertising these toys as the makers might get their money ... Read More:

This is a great kit - I'm buying a couple more to have in the cupboard for party presents. A rare craft activity that's equally good for girls and boys! I'd say best suited to 4-7 yr olds, but I had fun making them too. It was such good quality and a brilliant price that I made a point of getting other Crayola kits subsequently as a result of trying this one. Big thumbs up for the funky pebble bugs!

This product is spot on! Great value, great quality and lots of fun. The plastic case seems to be quite durable and the pens click into place easily. The colours are brilliant and when you first open the case it definitely gives you the wow-factor seeing all the colours neatly laid out. We'd already had a few of these twistables but when I saw this neat collection I just couldn't resist it. Unlike ordinary crayons, which can easily break into smaller pieces, these twistable crayons last for a very long time, especially if you carefully put them back in the carry-case after each use.
