Ravensburger Puzzleball - The World (540 pieces)

I started on the "childs themed" 6 inch diametre 240pc globe, with animals on as I wasnt too sure about the whole puzzle globe concept, (being a traditional jigsaw fan)
first upon opening it up, I thought "ooh, thats different" as due to the fact of it being a 3 dimentional puzzle, it had 2 round bits (north and south pole) and 2, 4cm x 15cm lengths (approx)to act as picture references
how to use them was sussed out very quickly.
I found that the pieces were nicely finished off, shiny, smooth and tactile, they made a positive tight fit which made the puzzle sturdy (as it gets lifted up and handled alot whilst making) they were also numbered on the back and I first thought "oh, thats a cheat" (but soon really needed the numbers ... River Crossing - The Perilous Plank Puzzle

This game filled quite a few hours over Christmas for our whole family from our 6yr old daughter to Nanny & Grandad. We enjoyed seeing who could get to the highest level, and then timing who was the fastest...great fun, and its unusual to have something simple that all generations really enjoy, and can play at different levels.

I am a reception teacher (ages 4-5) and the children in my class LOVE this game! The element of surprise when they turn the cards over to reveal the bones is brilliant! I shall be buying lots more orchard toys for my class!

The Simpsons Operation

This is a fantastic fun party game for friends and family. The DVD works really well with clear, easy to follow menus - you are quickly launched straight into the action. The races are great (although nail-biting) and the commentary really builds the atmosphere. There's a bookies board, form guide and a wad of pretend cash! I would recommend this 'GREAT NIGHT IN' to anyone - you don't have to be a racing fanatic to enjoy a flutter with this game!
