Clearly this is NOT a toy so the 'fun' etc. ratings above should be ignored. Little Johnny should be kept well away from the machine!

Ice machines, even table-top versions such as this, are a lot heavier that you would expect.

The ice-making capabilities of this model are very good. Once it starts churning out the bullet-shaped ice there is no stopping it until the water runs out. When this happens a (too) loud beep warns of the fact - shame there is no way to reduce the volume of this.

Shocking Lasers

This set is brilliant fun - let's get that out of the way now! Remember those trips to laserquest when you were little? Well, it's just like that, but now you've got a real incentive to use cover.

I have a friend with one of those modern laser sets that occasionally beeps when you score a hit, and people sort of walk around the room with those, slightly bored and not really caring if they get hit or not.

This is all rather different. The shocks aren't particularly strong, but they're enough to give you a good reason to shoot the other guy before he zaps you. Like the other reviews I agree that this is great fun and educational for the younger minds (and older ones too!!!) but the footpump supplied with the rocket is utter useless - it broke for me on the second depression; Do yourself a favour and buy your own pump to avoid disappointment

Fisher Space Pen

The fisher space pen is easily the best pen I've ever used. It can write on grease, underwater, upside-down, and in extreme hot and cold temperatures. It also write flawlessly at room temperature which is where I do 90% of my writing. The ridges on the grip also excel at removing the cuticles from your fingernails if you rub the area vigorously.
