My son has recently got a leappad for his birthday and i sent my husband out to get him a book to go with it. He came back with this book and i was a bit unsure as it was his 5th birthday and i thought bear in the big blue house might be a bit young for him. To my suprise he has hardly touched the other books and has spent about 2hrs a day with this book and is learning and having lots of fun with all the different games and songs. There is a game or 2 on each page and each one gets him looking and listening intently

My daughter loves this toy, everytime it plays the music she has a little dance! Its great that the buttons light up and that she can interact easily with the game. With 8 different game modes she never gets bored - I would definately recommend this toy!

This book is disappointing. Instead of featuring popular animals you expect a baby to learn it features animals like Capybaras (even I don't know what they are!) and animals that are too similar such as monkeys and baboons and dogs and dingos that are likely to confuse a child. In my opinion not suitable for this age group.
