This is an extremely useful addition to any Duplo collection.

Not only does it hold bits of Duplo still making them easier to be added to, it encourages 3-D building for children who have a tendency to build 2-D 'towers'.

Can be linked together with other plates of the same or different colours to create towns, beaches etc. and stretch young imaginations.

Also very useful when you are putting Duplo away. Just stick all the blocks onto the board and you have a solid lump of Duplo, reducing the loss of small parts.

Three factors prompted me to buy this toy -

1. Being a Star Wars Fan since 1977, this is the toy that I would have died for as a boy.
2. I have 2 young boys who love the Star Wars films (mainly my fault).
3. I had some cash to spare that the wife didn't know about, so I popped into toys R us who relieved me of a huge wad of it.

After I smuggled the large box into my garage/office and opened it, the first thing I said to myself was "Wow this thing is gigantic!", The second thing I thought was "The wife will freak when she sees this".

Crayola Colour Wonder Colouring Book & Markers

Ah... Crayola... what will you think of next? This one's a winner for many reasons. The concept is brilliant in that the children can use markers (like they see their older siblings doing), but are not able to ruin the walls, sofa, etc. in the process. You use clear ink markers to color the book and the colors appear as you draw. The color is in the pen, not on the paper, so it does leave some creativity to your children in choosing what colors they want to use where. I took this with me on a recent plane trip as a "keep busy" toy... no marking up the plane seats and it kept the kids busy for a while. I do hope that Crayola expands on this product to include more books, as mentioned in a previous review. Great CLEAN fun!!!!

Ravensburger Labyrinth Game

Have owned this game for a few years and the family have not tired of it at all. It has simple rules, is great fun, quick to play and different every time. The illustrations on the game cards are lovely and it is made of very good quality board. It is a really satisfying game although can be a little frustrating at times when you are thwarted by someone elses move! I'd say it is suitable for age 6 and up and my teenagers still enjoy it (as do the parents).
