RC RADIO CONTROL Mini MOSQUITO HELICOPTER - Version 2.0 with additional stability And Control

....better than the generic Mosquito helos which have two 4-blade rotors with a ring round them - much like a pair of windmills.
This newer version has two conventional 2-blade rotors with a balance bar on the top rotor. It works better for us, and seems to be a bit tougher.
It is still a 3-axis machine with yaw (=rudder) control, motor power (=collective) and pitch (=forward/reverse) rather than the simple 2-axis of the basic Picoo that most of us have seen - in ads if not in the flesh.

We have had half-a-dozen of the older Mosquito variety in our family - mostly the 'Alany' model, and we love them, but this is a significant improvement with slightly better performance, and significantly improved control in the ... Read More:

Playmobil - Fire & Rescue 4428

A lovely toy with great imaginative value. This was the present from our new baby to our little boy (3 and a half years old) - he has played with it non-stop for the past two months! There is such an amazing amount of detail, and of course the Playmobil people and accessories fit with all other Playmobil sets, so children can set up all sorts of adventures: at the moment we have Playmobil pirates 'mending' the helicopter! There are lots of small parts, so that is the only thing to be watchful of with younger children - but great for 3yrs and up I would say.

This is a great plane. It took me 5 mins to set up an then 5 mins to trim. After that it was easy to control and great fun! You charge from the controller and it only take 30 mins for about 15 mins flying. Great product!X-Twin R/C Jet

This is a great plane. It took me 5 mins to set up an then 5 mins to trim. After that it was easy to control and great fun! You charge from the controller and it only take 30 mins for about 15 mins flying. Great product!X-Twin R/C Jet

BRIO 33381 Wooden Railway System: Collapsing Bridge

We got this as a gift for our son a year ago, and its appeal has endured. Older and younger children who come to play also love it. They play rescue with a variety of story lines. The toy shows no hints of breaking or wearing out yet, and I see no end to the imaginative ways it can be played with. Highly recommended to fans of wooden railway.

Postman Pat Van - Friction

My daughter is Postman Pat mad and that fact alone made this an obvious choice for a Christmas present. The van itself is bright red and pleasingly chunky whilst it incorporates two sturdy figures, Pat and Jess of course. The figures can be slotted into their seats making the toy look better and other features such as wing mirrors and opening doors make for a polished product. The key feature of course is the van's independent movement; when pushed it will travel several inches (this of course works best on hardwood floors, laminate or vinyl rather than carpet). My only minor gripe is that you have to push quite hard to make the toy travel - I found out the hard way on Christmas morning when I pushed it to show my daughter and a wheel broke off! ...
