Fisher-Price Sit-to-Stand Giraffe Activity Tower

My daughter is 9 months and has had the giraffe for about a month. She stands up using it no problem and immediately stops crying and turns to it if I start playing with it and she is upset. We had no problems at all and all her cousins (1yr to 4yrs) love playing with it too.

I bought this toy for my son when he was born as he is a baby that is always awake so needs lots of stimulation. This has been one of the best buys as he loves the squeaker and the colours meant he could see it when he was a few weeks old. It also rattles and he is now able to get hold of the rings at the bottom to chew. I actually put this toy in the washing machine when it fell out of the car and it was fine - the squeaker still works. A must have for those with active babies.

IN A NUTSHELL WHAT A BRILLIANT TOY.
AND THE LONG VERSION - I bought this product when it first appeared on the market. It was my eldest girls present,(who's now 5) but my 3 year old son and two year old daughter love it. It has also taken some hammering from their older cousins (6 and 7 year old boys)! All is still intact and we have wonderful games of naughty Stingo getting up to no good and the tots baking and playing. My sister in law and I thought it was a bit amusing that the older boys wanted to play too but we did decide that with all the bits and pieces you can do,(like putting the cakes in the oven and when you pull them out they have risen), there are not many boys toys out there that offer such a lot of simple working parts ... Lamaze - Fish Bowl

This is my sons favourite toy - it is brilliant and can be taken everywhere because it doesn't make a noise. It keeps babies entertained for hours. The tank has liquid inside it and is great fun, each fish has a different texture and they are really bright and interesting. Children will spend ages taking the fish out and putting them back. Simple, but it works. I bought it for my son when he was four months and he is still playing with it at 9 months.

Rush Hour Traffic Jam Puzzle

Bought this for my son for christmas. Thought it might be too difficult for him as he wasn't 5 until end Jan. However after only a little while he could easily do the beginners section! He really enjoys the game and concentrates quite hard whilst doing it! Great game would highly recommend!

Tomy Starlight Dreamshow

Strengths:
- Very lightweight
- Cute music
- Cute pictures from the light show

Weaknesses:
- Can easily be pulled down by baby using its fingers
- Pictures are on a rotating disc, so may become boring after a while.
- Once the baby sits up in the crib, this can be hazardous if it't attached to the side, because the light has a warning not to let eyes come in the way of the rays.
- Probably useless after the child is four months old, if not before.

A better buy, in my opinion, would be the mobiles from Tiny Love that have farm or zoo animals. These are well-designed, durable, and can be used well into the toddler years (without the mobile part). My 1.5 year old still ... Read More:

Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo

I don't often review things on Amazon - but quite frankly, the woman (I am assuming) who invented the Jumperoo deserves a Nobel Prize. I don't know what we'd have done without ours - and our son has never giggled so much as when in his Jumperoo.

Lamaze - Balancing Bug Stacker

Great fun. My son is 9 months and loves the bugs. We make towers we play with them individually and he loves banging them together in the car. They are brighly coloured and the legs and wings are tough rubber and my little boy also loves chewing them.
