This kit allows you to hatch and rear specimens of Triops longicaudatus, the longtail tadpole shrimp. You simply follow the instructions in the kit (it's basically a case of adding some dirt which contains the eggs into a pot of water and putting it somewhere warm and light) and the T. longicaudatus soon hatch and start growing at an almost alarming pace. The relatively short life cycle makes it an excellent teaching aid for teaching anything to do with growth and development. T. longicaudatus are fed on small pellets of fish food or diced vegetables but can (and invariably do!) eat one another. This little hoover is brilliant, i bought this for my daughter on her first birthday and she adores it, when i hoover the floor she gets her vaccum cleaner out and copys everythng i do! it is just the right size for her and its so cute watching her swing it back and forth looking for bits to "hoover up" on the carpet. i reccomend it!

I bought this for my little boy for his 4th birthday recently and we all love it! It's our first playmobil item and I was a little skeptical that it could be worth £30 but it has earned every penny of it in the first 2 months alone.
There is stacks of stuff included in it and as ever with playmobil some of it is extremely tiny. I have a 18 month old as well and I do have to watch that none of it goes in her mouth.
The top comes off so they can play with them inside and the attention to detail is amazing - tiny little holder for mobile phone, pull out shower and tap - cute little toilet. We also bought the beach set which has been great too and my son can spend ages driving them for a day at the beach, getting the little picnic table ... Read More:

My son loves this light on when he goes to bed. It's not very bright as a night light which I think is ideal for that purpose. Just gives him a reassuring glow to let him go off to sleep on his own.
