I read the reviews on this camera before buying it and decided that durability and ease of use were more important than picture quality - not least because it was to be a present for my 4yr old, but his 2yr old little brother was bound to use it, so it had to be tough enough to cope with a toddler. We opened and experimented with it before giving it to our son, so we knew how to get decent images (Hold it still, make sure there's plenty of light - natural if possible - and don't get too close), and could coach him.

I originally bought this for one of my twin sons and they fought over it so much that I had to buy another. They both love it and there are no more fights.

I bought this game for my son when he was about two and he has been playing with it now for five months... and you know what??? He loves it... It's not that difficult and yet it's so exciting... The adventures are great fun and very educational... My son loved it so much that he kept playing over and over again!!! I thought Winnie the Pooh was very good, but this one has got to be better... Try it...

LeapFrog Explorer Globe

This globe certainly is a fantastic idea. My seven year old was desparate for a globe for christmas, and this seemed the ideal choice as we would all be able to play with it together over the holiday. How dissapointing then when he opened it on Christmas morning and discovered that it was convinced that most of the northern hemisphere was the artic ocean! We are sendning it back (to Santa) for one more go.

I got this for my daughter or christmas and she loves it. I am really impressed with the quality of the product. It is very duarable (it's been dropped many times!), there are no ill effects. It has made long car journeys a lot more enjoyable. I would buy the case to go with it aswell as it just makes it easier to carry the games. The battery life is very good. I would recommend this toy to anyone.

Crayola AM/FM Alarm Clock Radio with Night Light

I bought this for my 7 yr old daughter to help her get up in the morning.She really likes it as you can record you own wake up message- Ours is a reminder to get dressed as she always wakes before the alarm. You can set 2 different alarm times if necessary and there is a snooze function too. The night light function is a bit wierd as the light sequence is very fast- it would be nicer if the lights changed more slowly. The radio reception is not brilliant but we can pick up our local stations.

I Bought this as a Christmas present for my neice. I knew she liked Dora so that was a plus already. When she unwrapped it she screamed her head off because she had wanted it for ages but her parents couldn't afford it. Anyway she was 3 years old and was starting school the next year. Now she is 5 and everytime I see her she speaks to me in Spanish. She says 'Ola' and 'Gracias' She can even say thankyou and Your Welcome. I Reccomend this to all the little kids out there that are aged 3 - 7 years old. The other review about the screen being black and white.. well I ont think it matters. You can still see it and the keyboard is fine because the school my neice ad daughter go to they teach the kids Capital and small letters so anyone could understand it. She takes it ... Read More:

VTech V.Smile Learning Game: SpongeBob SquarePants "A Day in the Life of a Sponge"

I have three children ranging from 2-10 years old, and they all love V-Smile! This Spongebob game is based around the story of our yellow friend organising a party. My kids paticularly like the shopping game, where Spongebob and Patrick have to go to the supermarket and use the correct coins at the checkout. In another you get to be the fry cook and make Krabby patties (the buns have letters on which help to fill the orders). Like all V-smile games this has a good mix of numeracy, literacy, logic and fun!
