My daughters are 3 and know most of the letters of the alphabet but not all. They are showing a real interest in learning to read and so I thought this might be an easy way of helping them to learn the rest of the letters. Although the picture shows the letters as upper case, when it arrived it had the lower case letters, which was actually what I would have preferred (the product advertised with lower case couldn't be delivered to Germany). I think this toy will help them learn their letters but I have a couple of reservations: 1) it does both the name and sound of the letters, which I think is a bit confusing, especially as some letters have 2 sounds. 2) It is sometimes a bit difficult to make out the sound properly so that some sounds ... I bought this game for my son when he was about two and he has been playing with it now for five months... and you know what??? He loves it... It's not that difficult and yet it's so exciting... The adventures are great fun and very educational... My son loved it so much that he kept playing over and over again!!! I thought Winnie the Pooh was very good, but this one has got to be better... Try it...

My two children have had brilliant fun with this console. Ideal for 3 upwards. The Winnie the Pooh game is one of the best games available for this console and two years on my daughter is still playing it. The music is nice too - not the usual discordant jangling one expects with this sort of game. The Toy Story game is great too, as is Nemo, but I'd give Shrek and Spiderman a miss if I were you.

My baby daughter received this for her 1st birthday last year and loves playing with it. When it went wrong after several months use we were able to post it (via a FREEPOST address) to Leapfrog who returned it to us serviced and fixed at no extra cost within a week!!!. Callalily(above) should contact Leapfrog direct as they are very helpful and actually know the meaning of customer service. Highly recommended product and company.
