I bought this for my son and he hasn't stop playing it since. I would recommend this toy as a must have for all boys above the age of 6-66! It gives hours of fun to all ages alike and the only disappointment is with the charging of the helicopter which takes 20 minutes but the charge lasts for only 10 minutes, otherwise a big thumbs up!!!!!!!

A great idea, and it was huge fun for about 2 weeks. BUT then the tail rotor needed replacing and in the removal and refitiing procedure suddenly it didn't rotate at all. So one helicopter down... The next one lasted about a month longer. I don't think that's value for money. Toys like scaletrix and lego still work after 20 years!

I was not even planning to buy this toy, let alone know about it in the first place... My work Colleague just mentioned about it and then i just watched a couple of youtube's and then the next thing im handing my credit card details to Amazon and the best part if im not buying one but 2 one for me and my colleague...

About the Picco Z itself... Well im pretty impressed with its durability because ive crashed it a million times already and except for the tail rotor everything has held up to what they say it will... But saying that i guess the people who make or sell this stuff know that the tail rotor will not survive the rigerous crashes so the spare rotor was a welcome smile...

i have purchased several r/c helicopters/aircraft. this rates the best, i can control this better than the others. i am now looking for a larger outdoor model.

hours of entertainment.

i managed to dislodge front stabaliser within minutes, no need for this as i then found it much easier to control the helicopter. this is my favourite SO FAR!!!!!

My picoo z was still flying well with a cracked rear rotor blade but I knew one more nose-dive behind the sofa and my fun would be over. Unfortunately my
over enthusiasm after christmas day for tidying up meant the original spare went in the bin with cracker bits. Luckily these are official Silverlit rotors and a pack of three, which I was very happy about as I can play 'Apocolypse Now' to my heart's content.

Got this because my PicooZ had long since died, and even though I've graduate since to a 4-channel co-axial, I missed the little guy. So, got this as a replacement, as I fancied something a little different looking.

As noted by another reviewer, you get no choice in which of the three infrared channels you will receive, which could cause problems if you want to use more than one at a time (is anyone at Amazon listening? Could we have a choice of the A,B or C versions, please?).

It flies great, better than my old PicooZ, but whether this is due to a better design, or simply that my original one got a bit mangled as I learnt, I have no idea: Maybe I had better buy a heli-style one as well, just for comparison purposes, of course ... Read More:

This is a must have toy for anyone who likes thier toys, i bought it for my 4 year old for his birhtday, thinking he wouldnt be able to use it and "daddy" would have to show him how it worked, but he has mastered the speed control straight away and he isnt to bad with the direction controls, i struggle with direction, but it is very easy to keep it flying in a normal sized room until it starts to run out of power(7-10 mins). once it looses most of its charge it struggles to gain height so is ideal for a novice to take over and start playing around with it, as it wont gain enough height to smash into the ceiling.

If your kids love Doctor Who, then you have to buy this Cyberman Helmet.
Extremley durable, robust and remarkably lightweight. It will fits kids and Adults alike with its adjustable headband setting inside the helmet.
Our kids are scared to death of the Cybermen, so we have had hours of fun stalking them outside their bedroom door late at night !!!! (especially when they wont to go sleep!!!)
Dont think twice about worrying if this is value for money. I would have paid double to have had the amount of laughs we have had from it so far.
Definately recommended !!!!

Silverlit PicooZ Helicopter - Boeing AH-64D Apache

I have only had this little helicopter for an hour or two and i love it, even though ive crashed it. It is easy to control but takes a little time to get used to, the trim buttons are proving too awkward, but i would highly recommend this as a gift to anyone or just for yourself. My only concern is that my cat might kill it or it might kill my cat. I had a larger r/c helicopter a couple of years ago and it was fragile and broke within the first half hour of use, whereas the picooZ apache is light and feels flimsy but is durable. An overall good buy. (im getting another one!)
