This works quite well. I was getting fed up with a cat fouling my front garden. The cat repeller works quite well and it has effectively stopped the cat from coming into the front garden. I have been using this for around a month now and did not have to change the batteries until now. Very effective.

Great quality images sent via wireless signal from our bird box to our tv in the lounge, kept the grand children (and us) amazed for weeks from nest building, laying of the eggs, hatching, and leaving the nest - incredible. One particular advantage with this unit is you do not have to keep disturbing the nest to change batteries as its supplied with low voltage mains transformer. We have since purchased a second unit which is positioned on the underside of the roof and we have hours of enjoyment watching wild birds feeding everyday. Thouroughly recommended and a great gift idea.

I bought one of these online , when it came back I inserted the batteries and nothing . Contacted the manufacturers by phone , they said there must be a fault with the unit . Sent it back , it was out of stock so I had a refund . Reordered with another firm , it came back , inserted batteries it worked OK . However , after a couple of weeks started making an audible noise , constantly annoying the neighbours . I think basically , they are not weatherproof . Because the unit was on constantly the batteries lasted no time at all . In short a waste of money .

METAL SQUIRREL FEEDER

If you can't beat 'em, distract them. I feed the birds from pole mounted feeders in my garden and the once rare squirrels had no trouble running up the pole and having a good munch (and scaring the birds off).

I've tried the mesh cage around the feeders before- there are too many cats around and the birds are too nervous to clamber between the bars.

I tried squirrel baffles on the poles. Bemused for about 10 minutes, squirrel just found the nearest tall object and jumped. I moved the feeder. Squirrel jumped seven foot (he was a bit shocked himself) and tucked in.
