I'll be honest - this won't be an unbiased review. I'm guessing that most people who will purchase/consider purchasing this will be fans of Scrubs, so I am reviewing it from this perspective. I am a Scrubs fanatic, and, like the rest of my kind, I know how impressive the soundtrack has been over the years. This CD is a good collection of those songs.

Obviously, the more well-known artists wouldn't have wanted their songs on this, as they are high-profile in their own right (eg/ Boston, Toto). However, Scrubs has always been a source of exciting new music for me (I don't know if the music is popular in the USA, but its certainly always been new to me). Annie Ost

Having watched a production of Annie with my pet mouse, I was pursuaded to buy the CD for him. He loves it! He's constantly listening to the album and has made himself a wig out of the wax that covers edam cheese. He's even started eating less cheese so that he can feel more like an orphan. My only worry is that he now has a love of dogs and being a mouse, this is potentially hazardous. This is why I have only awarded four stars, but if you asked him, he'd give it five . . . and a half if that was possible.

This CD is amazing.I saw the show in August and loved it and the CD is just so wonderful.The passion and vitality of the music is all there.Matt Rawle is an amazing actor(and a perfect Zorro,I just luv him) he has a very powerful voice(especially in Hope) and Lesli Margherita (Inez,the gypsy queen) is wonderful in Bamboleo and Djobi Djorba another very powerful voice, the rest of the cast add to the flamenco fiesta atmosphere. The music of the Gypsy Kings is so vibrant and passionate you just have to get up and (try) to sing and dance along.I have listened to it constantly since I got it (5 days ago) and it is now one of my favourite west end cast cds and I have a few.Buy it and enjoy.

The songs on this album, unlike processed pop, show a variety that keeps the listener interested throughout. The tracks range from vocal dialogue, to instrumentals, and to both english and foreign singing. Even with such a range, the overall flow of the album is held together by the common mellow and meaningful feel. Of course by mellow I certainly don't mean dull, but rather that it's not really going to hype you up. What it will do is make you listen and listen intently. 'A Satisfied Mind' is a perfect example, as the lyrics are powerful and flow deep.

If you own and like the soundtrack for the first Kill Bill, I would recommend that you buy this album. Although there are some really strong tracks in the first album, the overall ... Read More:

I haven't been a big motion soundtrack album kinda guy. Usually where i like the movie, I find some movie albums have a few good songs along with some 'filler' rubbish in between.

From the rebelius first tracks of 'Crush'and 'Local God', to the chilled 'Angel' and then on to the fantastic moving ballad by Des'ree and of course the great and catchy 'Lovefool'. This album takes you through the rebel, the party, the confusion, the care-free, the poignancy and leaves you contented at the end with 'you and me'.

Every track seems to capture the feeling of the movie. I found 'Talk show host' as become my favourite track amongst a collection of great ones. ... Read More:

The way to buy this is the De Luxe Edition as you get a further 15 songs.
Eddie Izzard's Mr Kite is the odd one out here-its quite atrocious and doesn't need all the added on comedy

Classic soundtrack. This album has everything. Kenny Loggins establishes himself as the master of powerful, catchy 80s cheese with the immense Danger Zone and fun-as-you-like Playing With The Boys. Berlin's Take My Breath Away is possibly THE greatest ballad of all time. Harold Faltermeyer's Top Gun Anthem is about as moving a piece of music can be. A must have.

One Tree Hill

This is an amazing album even if you have never heard of One Tree Hill, although those that have will certainly appreciate the emotion of the songs.

Some stand out tracks include When The Stars Go Blue, it is truly an amazing cover, i only wish there was the other Bethany Joy Lenz songs on this album. Also good is Glad by Tyler Hilton and i love The Good Kind by the Wreckers. Sheryl Crow's accoustic 'First Cut' is definately a skip to moment.

This soundtrack will help fans remember so good moments of the series and possibly encourage people to watch One Tree Hill as the music is as key as the characters and writers.

Great wonderful music - you don't need me to tell you that. The excellent score from a much loved film, this contains some timeless moments. And given that a lot of money has clearly been spent updating the packaging and background detail, you'd be forgiven for thinking the producers would have taken the trouble to remaster the music. Not so. It is probably the worst recording I have ever paid money for - echoey, compressed and with very little bass. If you can imagine dangling a small television over one end of your bath while using an ear trumpet at the other end to record the sound onto an old computer cassette recorder, you get some idea of how bad this sounds. What a fantastic album, you don't get much better than this, pure rock/metal quality from start to finish
