I kind of trusted on the reviews.Ok there are some great songs on it,the classic but also a lot of rubbish.A great number of songs (even some famous ones) sound like they were recorded with electronic music.
I'm going to look for a cd with maybe less songs but more quality.

I am another who was fortunate enough to see one of his recent live concerts. Of course we were treated to all of his classics, plus a few tracks from this latest new album. These tracks were very pleasant and memorable. Infact, an exceptional set of songs that amount to an exceptional album.

This remakable return to form is acheived with songs written by other artists including John Lennon, U2, Tom Petty and Jackson Brown. Some of these tracks are quite addictive.

So, there it is. Not typical Glen Campbell perhaps, but certainly classical Glan Campbell. If this is your scene, then this album is a must.

Decade In The Sun

This is a fantastic double CD set. All the hits and an excellent disc 2 of other songs. And the box set is rather snazzy.

The track listing shown here on Amazon and virtually everywhere else is inaccurate. The first CD of this set has exactly the same listing as the single CD of Decade In The Sun so no one is getting shortchanged. It has 20 tracks kicking off with Dakota and ending with Handbags and Gladrags - exactly the same as the single CD album.

The second disc contains a host of other great tracks.

If you're a Stereophonics and thinking about getting this double CD set, buy it.

My Love: The Essential Collection

I bought this CD on pre-order a while back when it first became available and this is a very good and complete "greatest hits" from Celine Dion. However, that being said there is a 2 CD version available and it is much more complete. Considering (at present) the difference between them is £3 its well worth paying just a tiny bit extra for 36 tracks instead of just 18 on this version. I returned my copy of the "standard edition" and paid the little extra for the "Ultimate Edition".

This album is rubbish!! It's a shame I have to give it even one star.

There's not one reference to snow, paper, colombian marching powder or anything else white including Xmas!!!

Nope, it's all over the show, no structure to the album at all, songs all jumbled up. I think The Beatles must have still been on drugs when they put this album together. Oh Bla Di, Oh Bla Da????? Oh Bloody Hell more like.

Brian Epstein died just before this album was released, and personally, I think he had some insider knowledge as to how this album sounded. This album also coincides with Oh-no making an appearance. Something which must have put them all off their stride, judging by the sounds of it!!

The Definitive Collection

This is probably the best compilation album of Stevie's work and that's great but I urge you all to use this as a taster of his work, there is lots of it and if you buy anything before 1980 you will love it if you like this. Unfortunately he's done nothing of real note after the 1970's and that was where his key work was done. The trilogy of talking book, innvervisions and Songs in the key of life are treasures to be explored in their won right and you should all do so, personally although songs in the key of life is seen as his masterpiece it was a double album brain dump of everything he was working on and contains material that is weaker than the shorter talking book and innvervisions, with Innvervisions representing his finest (non compilation) album ... I would give the DVD 5 star rating too. The program is awesome. Take That is in it's best form, and concert is wonderfully conceived.

I trained myself to perceive buying something I like on a Blu-ray, after I already have it on a DVD, as an upgrade and not double-dipping. As such, I expect it to actually BE an upgrade...

Unfortunately... it was lit for the in-house audience and not for cameras (at least not for cameras used to shoot this concert). Insufficient light leads to grain and grain is abundant here, there is a lot of blocking and it is obvious that there is something gravely wrong with the colors and contrast. It's blooming, posterized and painful to watch. I wasn't expecting much of an improvement over the DVD, judging by the difference ... Read More:

Intimacy

I'm in danger of falling out of love with Bloc Party - they can call their new album Intimacy, Tender Kisses, Big Snogs from Kele and the Boys, whatever - the simple fact is this clumsy fumble of an album feels rushed.

This third album of course follows the less than spectacular 'A Weekend in the City' - a hugely ambitious album that fell short of the band's lofty aspiration to create a cultural snapshot of modern London life as experienced by your average young 20 and 30 somethings. It did however have some good moments and I am loath to completely slate a band for trying too hard. At the very least it felt like the band had sat down and recorded a set of songs thematically linked, with a common tone and that even had some sort of story arc running through them.

I love this album. Well worth the wait. Well done Jason, Beautiful songs. Very Romantic, you have done your fans proud with your new album. I could listen to this album all day. :-)
