I love this album and neve get bored of listening to it. Each time I do listen I enjoy it more and more. The songs are infectious and it is hard not to relate to the lyrics.

As a new convert to NS I was intrigued as to what I would find on here.
I was pleasantly surprised at the content and there are a few tracks that have already become real favourites.
For me the standout track has to be the hair-raising Al Kent:The way you've been acting. Whilst this is a brilliant track unfortunately it does suffer from being a copy from a record and there is some distortion on the left channel and some of the other tracks are similarly from records and not the original master tape. Still I would rather have them that way than not at all.
All in all a bargain at £3.39 at a large supermarket chain at time of writing.

Is this the greatest album of all time? Truthfully, I don't know. At the tender age of 18, I thought so. I had no concept of Van Morrison except for Dexy's great cover of Jackie Wilson Said. So, I got on the train to Chester, because they had Penny Lane Records, and I knew I'd find it there. I bought it together with St. Domininc's Preview, so that if I didn't dig Astral Weeks I'd have the album with JWS on and all would not be lost. From the floating, opening strains of the title track, I was immediately hooked. I had never heard anything so fresh, so free, and I already loved Dylan and The Beatles and - for good measure - Scott Walker, but nothing matched this, until I later discovered the likes of Tim Buckley, Nick Drake, Neil Young, etc. But it ... An essential compilation of some of Sade's best work. Truly every music lover NEEDS a copy of this in their collection! Sade just oozes raw sensuality, emotion, smokey richness and passion. These songs are great to chill, relax and unwind to. Enchanting, hypnotic, sultry and sexy! This really is music for the soul. This CD is a great way to get a taster of the magic that is Sade without having to spend a lot of money buying all the albums. 5/5 ~ Claire Elise Archibald. xxx

As this is a greatest hits album I knew what I was getting before I bought it so obviously there was no disappointment there. The songs that are on it are great, some of my favourites.
But personally there are so many more songs that I would have liked to be on there. I don't know if the answer is a double album or replacing some of the songs on this album.
It's still a good album though.

I think that ZZ Top are a very good band and they remain one of my favorite bands of all-time. this is one great collection and they made great blues music in the 1970s and the 1980s. here are my comments about most of the songs. GIMME ALL YOUR LOVING this is a really great song and is my 2nd favorite song on the entire cd. SHARP DRESSED MAN this is pretty great too, but probably my 5th favorite. ROUGH BOY is a ballad that is too slow and too sad for me. TUSH is an excellent blues rocker remains one of my 5 favorites on this album. MY HEAD'S IN MISSISSPII is a blues rocker one of my favorites, PEARL NECKLACE not my fave, IM BAD IM NATHIONWIDE this is pretty good although remains as a 10th favorite or something. I AINT CRAZY ABOUT VIVA LAS VEGAS, DOUBLEBACK is a pretty ... Read More:

Like the sea itself, Maiden Voyage is vast and epic- flirting with adventure and myth. It is Herbie Hancock's tour de force- what the wonderous Speak No Evil was to his Blue Note peer, Wayne Shorter- ie. representing the composer/pianist at his imaginitive peak. We can only imagine what kind of zone Freddie Hubbard, George Coleman, Ron Carter and Tony Williams must have been during the recording of this masterpiece- so wonderfully coherent yet brimming with subtle musical conflict. And Hancock's playing is simply majestic.
The opening track is stunningly simple- you might feel a little uninspired by the low-key opening, but then, all of a sudden, it all opens out beautifully during the trumpet solo. This short flourish embodies the enitre tone of the album and ... Read More:

Fabulous! I've not heard much of her lately but then I played the CD,s. I cannot think of a bad track. I find that I keep repeat playing most of the tracks I find it hard to move on. What is apparent throughout is the great playing from the band. Its great value and one that is being exclusively played in my car.

This album remains one of the best, Anything but dull, real joy in worship with many favourites. I love this style of music and it does justice to the wonder of God's mighty works.
Great when you have friends round or just listening in the car or at home.
Wonderfully inspirational tracks.
