I only recently got into WT after seeing them support Iron Maiden at Twickenham and this was the first album I bought. It is quite simply brilliant. Comparisoms with Evenescence are unwarrented as WT are in a different league. This album is an excellent place to start but the earlier ones are brilliant as well (especially Mother Earth). the music also transcends the generations as all my 3 teenage boys have become WT fans as well has many of their freinds at school. Buy this album if you have any interest in melodic rock - you won't be disappointed.

this album is awwwsome and they r now 1 of my fave bands1
their music makes me smile and i advise 4 u 2 by this album asap!!!

A brilliant conconction of music, love it, love it, love it! Takes me right back to St.Ives in Cornwall sitting on the harbour wall with all the other hippies, thinking I was so cool and listening to She Sells Sanctuary blasting out from the pub opposite - oh to have that time all over again.....

Ok so i have been browsing the other reviews written by other people, there not that good are they? I think this album is a product you either love or hate, for me i love this album its very different to the previous stereophonics music, i must admit i was a little dissapointed that there wasnt much rock and roll - the songs can almost be seen as a little depressing, but it has grown on me A LOT!
To put things short, buy the album if you are a stereophonics fan, give it chance to grow on you, you wont be dissapointed with songs such as mr writer, vegas two times and handbags and the gladrags which is an excellent Rod Stewart cover (almosts sounds like him), but most of all i think this album projects Kelly's unique husky voice.

Stiff Upper Lip: Remastered

First impressions weren't too great, BUT this album definiteley grows on me! It's certainly AC/DC's bluesiest album featuring Brian Johnson, and although it's loud and rocky, it's less Metal than much of the band's post 1980 output - still heavy enough though!
Highlights are House Of Jazz (the guitar work sizzles on this), the ultra catchy Hold Me Back with thumping drums from Phil Rudd, the fastest & hardest track, Safe In New York City and the anthemic Can't Stop Rock N Roll.
The production is very organic, with a sharp, almost Live sound - the drums are particularly tasty, and Cliff Williams' Bass guitar is slightly more upfront in the mix than usual. Guitar work, as already said, is far more into Hard Rock meets Blues territory than the Metal ... Read More:

This is the latest offering from Black Metal's answer to Bros and my god, it's fantastic! It's everything you'd expect from Satyricon - dark and melodic, brutal yet poetic. I think that it's the perfect follow up to Now Diabolical and a must for any would-be fan. The 2 disc edition has some pretty fabulous extras on it too which span some of the band's back catalogue. A superb album. Put it on your Christmas lists and you won't be sorry!

This was the first Metallica album I bought, after being blown away by the 'Until it Sleeps' video. I was about to hit my teens at the time, and I remember all the bad press surrounding it at the time, but couldn't for the life of me understand why everyone had such a problem with a fantastic album. Although after hearing the 80's stuff, I soon realised why some of the thrash purists might have found 'Load' a bit hard to swallow (arf arf).

However, just because it's different doesn't necessarily mean that it's bad. Far from it. After the trademark thrash sound of the first 4 albums and the Pantera-esque metal stomp of 1991's 'Black Album', Metallica took a bold move with their forray into alternative rock. worth owning just for the 2x versions of "hear my train a comin..", let alone "born under a bad sign" or anything else on here..
the man was an alien, either that or the rest of us are such pathetic examples of human beings that no-one has been able to reach his heights since. and to think some people rate Bono.

This was the first Rammstein album I ever bought and it remains my favourite to this day. If you're new to Rammsteins sound this is definetely the album to start with from the slower songs like "Spieluhr" and "Spiel Mit Mir" to the epic riffs of "Mein Herz Brennt" this album is amazing and has a song for all moods. Dominant tracks include "Mutter" and "Sonne" but end ones like "Zwitter" are great as well. As soon as you hear the opening chords to "Mein Herz Brennt" with that orchestre you'll just immerse yourself into the album. The price too is good, as I normally see it priced up to £15 in HMV. For new fans listen to a few tracks on YouTube then buy this album - its worth it.

I'd recomend highly of not buying this CD, unless you intend to use it in a video (so that it isn't protected).
Why not buy the CD? Its a very good CD and film, yes, but the songs are 90% useless without the videos, like Beelzeboss. Beelzeboss is a rock off with Satan, with amazing dancing (in a sarcastic way) so, the video is kind of important for this and many others. I tried listening to Beelzeboss, didn't feel the same. There's not much point in buying it, unless ya gonna use it in a film of somekind. Best option for you is too download the videos off of google-video (this is still staying legal these options), purchasing off of Itunes or various other options you may find (perhaps filming it ya-self).
