This has to be one of the greatest rock albums of all time, and for me AC/DC`s second best after the previous "Powerage".The production on this is excellent, recently purchased this on cd as my vinyl copy is on its last legs.Great to hear it again, where do you start, all great tunes but stand out for me are,Highway to hell, walk all over you,If you want blood and touch to much.
I was lucky enough to see this tour and went two nights running at Manchester Apollo, awesome.Have a great memory of being at the Led Zep Knebworth gig in 79 and they played this album in full over the pa system.
Of course this was Bon Scott`s last album and he was/is sadly missed. After this album came their biggest selling album"Back in Black", another great ... Read More:

Queen are the most overrated band ever. This collection does contain the odd decent song but most songs here are trivial, soul-less, hollow and very very empty. The world's most pointless band!

I first heard about Paramore eariler on this year, my friend told me to listen to Until Tomorrow and I fell in love with the band. Hayley is an awesome singer and Riot! is now one of my favourite albums. CrushCrushCrush and That's What You Get have to be two of the best songs on the album and I think everyone should get it lol....god I ramble....

Before buying this album, I was familiar with the 'big' songs from it, however after a few listens i have come to appreciate the true raw talent behind it; suffice to say im very happy with the purchase!! the case was delivered with a crack however, which is not the first time from Amazon to me.

Robert Johnson's Tombstone was a return to form for a band that had come so near to destruction and as an album, was very nearly perfect. Never pushing the envelope, but providing exactly what you always expected in the form of rock steady songs interspersed with more thoughtful numbers.
This though, while very likeable, is less immediate and requires a fair number of spins before you form a real impression of the contents. That said though, it is an album of two halves with the first 6 songs creating far less impact than the last 6, indeed, I find that if you play this album in "random play" on the cd player that it actually improves the "listenability" overall.....maybe it was intentional, maybe it was not, but as it stands, for me, only half the album comes across ... With well over a hundred reviews for this album, why should I add another? There is nothing more to be said other than
1) When they next get together to get another series of 'Classic Albums - The Making Of' DVD's, this should definitely be one of them, and
2) Every 'serious' rock fan's collection should have this album, it is absolutely essential!!
Say No More!!

So here we go, the second album from Black Stone Cherry is here, and it's been worth the wait.
Southern Rock has never sounded so fresh and contemporary, killer guitar lines, powerful vocals and improved songwriting all contribute here to a band rapidly on the rise.
Things don't really get much better than album opener "Blind Man" which believe me is a good thing, because this song is easily one of the best rock songs I've heard this year.
The Ballad "Things my father said" again fits in beautifully, its a tearful reflection on one's dad who has passed away.
It's a shame a band like this is not very well known, by that I mean the casual music listener, because it really is a quality album.

Fourth outing from this not incompetent little combo finds Mr Draiman
and cohorts floundering in increasingly lame-brain territory.
Classification-junkies will doubtless debate categories and sub-categories
but what we are delivered here is simple, guitar-led, hard rock of a
wholesomely traditional kind - and nothing essentially wrong with that of course.
