I buy dance compilations primarily to listen to good mixing between (good) tracks. The track selection on this package isn't awful, OK there are some tracks that perhaps shouldn't be there, but what annoys me slightly is the total lack of any careful mixing between tracks. Some transitions are as smooth as silk, whereas others are a simple fade down and fade up which all takes place in about 3 seconds, or just a crash edit, which I find defeats the point of buying an album such as this.

When will MOS return to letting actual named DJ's mix their output?

i dont think the content overall needs to be reviewed, its all classic abba and can all be found elsewhere EXCEPT for I AM THE CITY, this track is still ,as far as i know, not available anywhere else except on this album,(im not counting the COMPLETE STUDIO RECORDINGS box set,the purchase of which may necessitate a small mortgage) and i cant believe no other review has mentioned this. If you@re a fan , its the main reason to buy this album,and if your collecting all abba's recordings,it makes this essential. oh, and if you havent heard it the track is great, not one of their moving and meaningful ones but its fun,hypnotic and sparkly,;incredible arrangement and production, -i know thats kind of a given for abba- but - much more so than, for example ... Anyone giving this album 1 star and saying "they are not exactly Paul Van Dyk or Tiesto" is an idiot. Do you not realise that Scooter are just taking the p!ss? All the tracks are proper Euro trash with hilarious lyrics "it's not a bird, it's not a train, it must be Dave who's on the train" - this is clearly meant to be tongue in cheek. The album is great fun and makes you laugh out loud not to mention tap your feet. The new stuff is fantastic and fits perfectly with "jumpstyle". Check out Patrick Jumpen on You Tube to see some Jumpstyling to Scooter, v catchy! I saw Scooter live in Berlin years ago and, believe me, they are just having a laugh. Don't get offended, just get jumpin'!!

Emiliana hang your head in shame. I loved 'Love in the time..' for it's lovely ambient beats together with that beautiful voice. Wasn't expecting the folky turn of 'Fisherman's' but still great (especially live).

This latest offering is an example of someone with absolutely no idea as to what direction to take musically. I have no problem with taking different directions, but probably best not to take them all at the same time. This is a complete mess and a waste of - did I say already? a beautiful voice.

D- must try much much harder.

Can anybody think of many double albums on which every track is even 'good' let alone a master work? They are very few and far between as the majority of them just go on for far to long with too much 'filler'. And so we come to SONGS IN THE KEY OF LIFE by MR. Stevland Morris.
After the masterpiece which was INNERVISIONS in 1973, Stevie Wonder released this magnum-opus in 1976. Is it as good as INNERVISIONS? The answer is a resounding YES, YES, YES!
Up-lifting and beautiful, happy yet melancholy, it doesn't get any better than this.
Go and buy it.

and a live in concert dvd which i have seen and it is fantastic with a mix of new and old.
old tracks from scooter are also on the album which was not on the last release so this is an essential for fans and newcomers of the recent music
