This seems to be a rushed release on the back of the brillant first album, the electronics have gone and been replaced by a Gary Glitter tribute band. I seriously hope they get back on track with the next release and that they don't turn into a one album band like so many other nowdays.

How is it that the "'babes," with all their popularity, aren't able to get decent remixes done? Are they studying at the Kylie Minogue find-the-lamest-remixers-possible-and-dump-the-results-on-the-paying-public school? Disappointing. Download the "Dove and Smart" remix and ignore the three other tracks.

This album has rightly been lauded by just about everyone. It's an incredibly clever and interesting piece of work. The tracks are varied in their feel and attitude, from "thuggish" to thoughtful and reflective. If anything the problem is that West is trying too hard to be all things to all people. He's a thoughtful, reflective soul who believes in Jesus and disapproves of drug use (in principle) but who is also happy to hand out beat-downs, steal and deal drugs (or to do whatever he has to "to get by"). Most rappers are guilty of trying to take the moral high ground while also maintaining their street cred by acting like delinquents, but with many rappers (e.g. Tupac) this seems to be a genuine contradiction (or perhaps a paradox if you want to be ... I would of given this album 5 stars however a couple of tracks let it down. I bought it because 'To Be Free' is such a superb track and there are other good tracks on the album just not all to my taste. It's worth buying purely for the outstanding vocals.

At first I was so dubious about this, I wasnt sure I would like its 'dubby' feel or its Dancehall-Step as I was more interested in a sub-bass dubstep / grime fest. But this release has made me mature and avoid grimey angry litte brats!

Also, what really blew my mind was the connection to ICE, GOD, Techno Animal and Dalek! Brilliant!

Each song on this album is a winner, individual and so diverse and progressive. Considering I got into this genre via getting bored of low-end sonic doom (Sunn, Earth, Melvins)...I cant wait to get more of it!

I love this album when i first got i could not stop listening 2 it, so here is a breakdown of all the tracks.
Stay- we all know this song great beat with ne-yo's slick vocals
Like me get this right- Again great beat and a great tune
So sick-This song never gets boring
When you mad- His third single, love the video,it is about how he think's his girlfriend is even more sexy when she is mad, this is actually a personal experience of his, coz he said this on choice fm radio, brillant radio station.
It just ain't right- Great song one of my favourites, shows off his vocal talent, listen 2 the song and you will know what i mean
Mirror- Shows off neyo's freaky side,good song 4 all the lovers out there

Have just found this CD in my loft after being lost during the last house move. So happy to see it i nearly cried. Like being reunited with a long lost friend. Agree with the reviewers here (not Amazon)- this album can be many things to many people so long as you are not offended by the mix of hymns and sensual (at times sexual) beat / sounds. The work can function as background music while you work or socialise; or alternatively be the backdrop to chilling or meditating. It even gives the HiFi a work out at the same time!

This is one of the most awful albums I ever heard.

It all seems a joke. Probably is a masterpiece for toilette ambience or a sound experience in North Polo.

I like most of Robert Fripp guitar playing and Brian Eno works but this is too much for me... I just don't see nothing more then boring continuing horrible sustaining sounds.
