I have just got the box set recently, and have been enjoying it greatly. Not just that, my three daughters aged 9, 6 and 2 are great fans, and want to listen to it all the time in the car. And the two-year-old even says 'Rock' once she hears the first few bars of 'We will rock you'. Just goes on to show that Queen truly made ageless music, which still scores far above most contemporary music.

First off I'm 14 and have all the GN'R albums (including Spag Incident, ChiDem and Unplugged 1993 (which you will not find, anywhere).
Just don't bother buying this, I haven't but know all the songs and come on! Mr Brownstone! Rocket Queen! Nightrain! You gotta have Nightrain, Don't Damn Me, Locomotive, Estranged, Reckless Life, Pretty Tied Up, in fact just go out and buy Appetite and Lies, if you like them get the UYI double set, if Slash, Axl and Duff all tried to stop it being released then you know it's an embarrassment.
It is good Ain't It Fun made it though, so Slashy haha.

Queen are the most overrated band ever. This collection does contain the odd decent song but most songs here are trivial, soul-less, hollow and very very empty. The world's most pointless band!

Arrived yesterday and I have played it over and over, hit after hit superbly remastered and a 'must have' CD absolutely fabulous can't add anything more just buy it!

Before buying this album, I was familiar with the 'big' songs from it, however after a few listens i have come to appreciate the true raw talent behind it; suffice to say im very happy with the purchase!! the case was delivered with a crack however, which is not the first time from Amazon to me.

This is the compilation which defines the most criminally overlooked rock band in history. One of the greatest songwriters of the late 20th century, backed up by a troop of amazing guitarists, with Gorham, Robertson and Moore blasting out riffs and, more importantly, some of the greatest guitar solos ever throughout each song on this compilation. This band is a monolith of rock music and thankfully this compilation shows this very well.

my only quibble is that perhaps this shouldve been called 'the very best of' or something like that. In that case southbound and massacre couldve been added too, as well as the rest of the black rose album. The packaging is great also, as well as the music, and the story of lizzy is presented inside along with some great photos ... Read More:

Yep, Aerosmith have released many many greatest hits albums. I think this one has the best mixture of tracks of the lot though, a range of all their hits starting from way back. Some fantastic songs.
Highly recommended if you've only heard a limited amount of Aerosmith music, as it'll give you the pick of the best of the rest, and you may well decide to look into their more obscure stuff.

You can't go wrong with Bruce Springsteen's entire catalogue, and seeing as how most are on a very low price you could pick them at random and still have a lot of nice surprises (but maybe not the Lucky Town era). This compilation is an interesting mix of tracks, but it barely scratches the surface particularly of the pre Born In The USA time and centres too much on the ones since then. There's practically nothing from Greetings, The Wild, Nebraska and Darkness, the huge amount of live tracks are also overlooked, so I think this is aimed more at the very casual listener who isn't concerned what great album tracks they're missing. I had the pleasure of seeing Neil Young live in Kent last weekend. It was great to see he is still on tremendous form after all these years. With a catalogue of about thirty albums it is difficult for newcomers to his work to know where to start their collection, but this compilation covers a lot of his best known music. In fact according to the man himself it was compiled according to sales of the songs, airplay and known download history which gives the track selection credibility.

The collection begins with three of Neil Youngs' key songs- two epics which demonstrate the remarkable craftsmanship behind his output (Down by the River and Cowgirl in the Sand) and the shorter, harder edged 'Cinnamon Girl', an instantly catchy number. Def Leppard outsold many band of the 1980s, and this compliation of their best hits proves why. Hits from the early years of recording, like "Photograph" and "Rock of Ages" are within the compilation, and are complimented with the hits from their biggest selling album, "Hysteria", like "Animal", and "Rocket". Included also are some songs from their albums in the mid 1990s, like "When Love And Hate Collide", which scored highly in the UK charts. Of course, their biggest hit, "Pour Some Sugar on Me" is the first track, so that will definately get any listener going.

The band itself produces absolutely brilliant music, and this album clarifies the imapct Def Leppard had on the music world. I would also call this a masterpiece.
