Agree with most of the reviews listed. If, like me, you went to Uni in the early 90's and have been a fan of that genre ever since you'll have almost grown up with Nick Bracegirdle's music and all the myriad offferings it inspired and spawned
From the days of saltwater to the excellent maddening crowds CD, his music has always evolved, always delivered and always impressed

This is more of a warning than a review. Basically, every track on the album has two seconds of silence at the end, including the first track "Prelude" which should seamlessly merge into "Slam". Other than this one instance it isn't that annoying, but if that kind of thing would irritate you, you may be better off looking for the original version of the album, which was mixed properly: Hold Your Colour
If you are looking to put the album on a computer or portable media player (iPod, etc.) there are workarounds for this. Once you have bought and ripped the album to your computer, either download a replacement copy of "Prelude" from the original, or edit the track yourself using a program like Audacity. In terms of whether this album is better ... Read More:

Well i must say i thought this was just another compilation of the latest tunes that i don't care about at all. How i was wrong !!
This is brilliant, it contains new songs such as "Cry for You" and also contains some real classics such as "Luvstruck" which we recognize from "Kevin and Perry". The list really does go on and not only are they brilliant tracks but they are also all club mixes of these songs so there's added bass and speed on most tracks.
Good for general listening but obviously much better in the car, club, house party or anywhere with loud speakers and subs !!
EASILY worth the money !!

This album is amazing. Every single track is great to listen to. I am a great lover of Pendulum but the Prodigy blew my mind.
If you love any type of electronica music then buy this

Cascada was the first group that got me into Dance music. I normally listen to Rock but there was something I liked about their music.
The tracks on this album have all got great beats to get bopping along to weather at home (which you'll properly find me doing) or in a club. These beats are out-shadowed by the amazing voice that Natalie has. Every single song on here is brilliant! Must Buy I would say

Like all the previous reviews, this album is a classic & one that never gets tired, other albums come & go but this one is here to stay, been a massive fan of zero 7 from the beginning since i first heard the sublime "destiny" on a late night chillout radio show, every track on the album is outstanding, wether it's the beautiful instrumental tracks or the ones with vocals,it's simply a pleasure to listen to time & time again,a true classic! Also check out the brilliant "when it falls" album, another excellent release by the outstanding zero 7...

styles u r now a disgrace 2 hardcore, you're only in it 4 the money and fame. stop trying to bring hardcore to the surface, it was never meant 2 be this way! if people want pop music they'll buy stuff that's in the charts. mind u, this album mite aswell be in the charts - 'popcore' rubbish

A complete shift away from the break beat grooves of his best known material towards a more Neu influenced vibe reminiscent of Primal Scream's 'Evil Heat' crossed with the Jesus and Mary Chain's 'Darklands'. So if you get off on those this should also be your bag. Like the JAMC's Jim Reid, DH half whispers rather than sings but that's fine. Whether I play this as often as 'This film..' remains to be seen. There isnt as much to find on repeated listenings as there is on his first 2 albums but it's still pretty good at that.

Being a fan of Faithless, it might lead me to being rather biased here when I say this album is simply the best album you WILL ever buy. Each song is fantastic in its own way, but I particularly like Why Go (featuring Estelle) and I Want More (the video is amazing!). Perfect for fans of slightly old-school not-too-heavy dance music such as Depeche Mode or more funky house style bands like Morcheeba perhaps. And, for under a fiver, it's an absolute bargain! You will kick yourself hard if you don't buy this album, I mean it!

I've never quite got into Sasha, I've never felt like calling anyone a 'legend' and probably the man himself wishes nobody did either! But from the first listen this CD oozes high level production talent and totally draws you in. Lots of interesting changes and grooves to ensure it doesn't lack personality or soul like some progressive house can. This is simply a blisteringly good example of a man whose asked for nothing and given something very special which I feel will stand the test of time, and that I guess is why they call him a legend, well earn't I say.
