Agree with most of the reviews listed. If, like me, you went to Uni in the early 90's and have been a fan of that genre ever since you'll have almost grown up with Nick Bracegirdle's music and all the myriad offferings it inspired and spawned
From the days of saltwater to the excellent maddening crowds CD, his music has always evolved, always delivered and always impressed

I buy dance compilations primarily to listen to good mixing between (good) tracks. The track selection on this package isn't awful, OK there are some tracks that perhaps shouldn't be there, but what annoys me slightly is the total lack of any careful mixing between tracks. Some transitions are as smooth as silk, whereas others are a simple fade down and fade up which all takes place in about 3 seconds, or just a crash edit, which I find defeats the point of buying an album such as this.
When will MOS return to letting actual named DJ's mix their output?

Many of the other reviews about this product are critical of this album as they seem to be saying that it has too many good songs that they already have. I do not see why this should be a problem as having all these very good tracks in one package must be a good thing.
If you are new to this genre of music like I was then this album is the ideal starting point and I would highly recommend it to you.

This great two disc album from the Pet Shop Boys contains thirty five of the duos greatest songs. All of the Pet Shop Boys biggest hits, such as `Go West' and `West End Girls' are included as well as some that I hadn't heard before buying this album but they are all very enjoyable. My favourite song from the album though is the relatively resent `Flamboyant' and in all honesty it was this song that encouraged me to get the album in the first place. The one slight criticism of this album is that all of the truly great songs from the Pet Shop Boys could have easily fitted onto one CD rather but this is only a slight annoyance and even the songs presented here that are less that stunning are still a cut above much of the music released today. This album is great ... Read More:

I have to say that hed kandi have done a great job here they really have captured the sounds of ibiza this year! Unlike ministry who seem to just use the word ibiza for some kind of commercial gain and slap anything together and sometimes its debateble if it has been mixed at all. If your'e wanting cd's that represent ibiza this year with precision mixing you'll not go wrong here an allround top mix from start to finish... Wait for the sun to shine (it will one day) grab a cold beer and get in the garden with the tunes on and you'd think you were on bora bora beach ;) Niiiiiiice!

As you may gather from this review title, I bought this simply because I have all the other CDs in this series.
So, what's new? Very little, which if you like this type of music is a GOOD THING. A superb selection of grooves and tracks. If I'm being super-critical, theres a couple of tracks near the start of the album which I feel don't quite work or are a little weak, but once it gets moving it does what all the Hotel Costes CDs do - make you feel good.
Maybe not the strongest in every department out of all the Hotel Costes CDs, but nowhere near the worst. Perfect for when you have a few firends around chatting, for chilled nights in or for Sunday morning pick-me-up. Highly recommend.

This is a great album! There's some fantastic tracks on here! Mostly dance tracks. Produced by the legendary Stuart Price who co-produced Madonna's mega hit "Confessions On A Dancefloor" album! The irony is that this is Seal's lowest selling album! Usually when critics say something is crap, it's actually good, and when something doesn't become too popular and mainstream, it's a secret gem.. For those of us clever enough to stumble across... This is one of those gems... Just buy it! :)

Being a fan of Faithless, it might lead me to being rather biased here when I say this album is simply the best album you WILL ever buy. Each song is fantastic in its own way, but I particularly like Why Go (featuring Estelle) and I Want More (the video is amazing!). Perfect for fans of slightly old-school not-too-heavy dance music such as Depeche Mode or more funky house style bands like Morcheeba perhaps. And, for under a fiver, it's an absolute bargain! You will kick yourself hard if you don't buy this album, I mean it!
