Yes yes, Ministry of Sound put out plenty of albums, particularly classic ones, and seem to get plenty of flack in the reviews (!), but honestly this is brilliant. I was given Anthems I for Christmas last year, and that was pretty good, but this follow up is even better. Mostly because it digs out some of the brilliant but not often seen tracks like DReam, S Express, New Order, Orbital and Billie Ray Martin.
Discs 2 and 3 seem to be chronological as well, but it really is big tune after big tune, great if you buy only one dance album. Faithless, Livin Joy, Modjo (what a track!), Olive, Stardust, the list goes on.
I'm lovin it! Couldn't recommend it more...i'll be getting it for people for Christmas...

Once again AATW have brought us the 2nd clubland of the year, but there's something missing!.....
Cascada of course!
Hopefully Nat & the guys will have the next album out for the summer clubland album!!
Other than that, big tunes on the album include: welcome to the club by Manian, Infinity 08 by Guru Josh project, Ultrabeat's Never Ever, Darren Styles new hit Girls Like You, plus great remixes by the one & only Flip & Fill, & lots more tunes ideal for partyin or blastin in the car!

I was a bit disappointed with the album after having read all the glowing reviews on Amazon. The lyrics are good and the production is interesting but apart from William's blood and I'm crying the melodies are frankly boring.

I'd have to agree with the more negative reviews here. Just the inclusion of Basshunter's "Now You're Gone", has blown any credibility of the Annual series all by itself. I think maybe The Annual has had its day.

Let me start by saying that I have never been a fan of any form of dance music: in any way whatsoever!
I saw these guys perform Granite live on Jools Holland, and they blew me away though. I genuinely believed them to be a guitar driven rock band: so to discover that they are D&B is quite a suprise.
That said, I bought this album to find out how good their other stuff was, and it did not disappoint! Thunderous guitar riffs fused with heavy electronica, and synth fed voices create a wall of sound against a backdrop of Metallica style drums.
I invested in their first album "Hold Your Colour" too: and even though this is very much a D&B album, you can clearly discern the direction that their music is going in.
Stand out tracks for me on "In Silico" ... Read More:

A cracking modern pop album that doesn't take itself too seriously or try to be anything it isn't - no po-faced deep and meaningful "message" here and all the better for it. Think somewhere between a Roxette that isn't trying so hard to be cool and a grown-up high-school musical without the schmaltz and you're about there. Don't think you don't like pop because you can't stand the bubblegum warbling that infests the charts - this is how it should be done.
