Fantastic item, when it first arrived I thought it was a bit over rated, then I gradually overcame my fear and started to use it more and more, now it is a piece of kitchen gadget that is never out of my hand, so versatile. Would not be without now, I am even buying one for my daughter for a CHRISTMAS PRESENT.

Yes it's not particularly high tech nor will it win any design awards and the build quality is not up to ipod standards but, and this is important! it wakes you up with a freshly made pot (HOT) of tea for 2. OK, the rocker switches are a little dated, the clock is a little "agricultural" for my liking and it's only a slightly less than 12 hour timer (how long do you sleep for anyway?) but it's a teasmade - it makes tea. I suppose they could have added a digital clock, WiFi, internet radio, D.A.B., bluetooth and god knows what else but it wouldn't make it do the job any better. As for a kettle and timer, good luck with that, it's certainly cheaper but somewhat less convienient (or safe for that matter) and then you have still got to pour the water into ... Read More:

Normally I tend to confine my reviews to items of the literary kind, but as I can't really be bothered with another book review at the moment (and because I bought this grill from Amazon recently) I thought I'd turn my critical eye on the Big George.
This is my first real experience with health grills, and overall I'd have to say I'm quite impressed. The grilling area heats up quickly and is big enough to fit plenty of burgers on, making it a handy backup if you've invited all your friends over for a BBQ but the weather isn't cooperating. The unit feels solid and durable, though the temperature control seems unusually delicate, as if it doesn't really do anything. The controls are simple and easy to use, even if the timer is rather superfluous ... Read More:
I was extremely disappointed by this kettle. A healthly adult may not find it too much trouble to operate, but for children, the disabled and elderly it is useless. My mum couldn't work out how to use it at all.
The kettle is very HEAVY. Empty it weighs in at 1.3 Kg which is TWICE the weight of an ordinary kettle. The lid is awkward to open and the shape makes it difficult to fill. The small ON light is impossible to see from most angles. The valve release requires too much pressure for less able people to use. The spout I didn't like either. I was never confident when and where the boiling water was going to go.
The on switch has failed after 2 months of light use. This switch is badly designed and relies on springs which are likely ... Read More:
We have had this steam mop about 3 mnths and at first it worked ok although it didn't get all the dirt out of the pattern of our Kardine floor. We have used it 8 times since we got it but the last time no steam came out!
Reading the other reviews it seems to be a common and terminal problem with no solotions offered.
Accordingly I can NOT recommend this steam mop.
This is a lovely item of for Dr Who lovers. It looks very attractive and is joyful in the cold weather as it adds atmosphere to the room. Bought it for myself, not a child, lol. Worth every penny.

i agree with most of the comments made....its a disappointed. It constantly leaks and it doesn't matter how hard you hold it together. I have used a small tub and it works alot better. Would not recommend this product to anyone!!!!!
I was looking for a new smallish heater to go with my new Kitchen and decided on this one after looking at the reviews.
The Heater duly arrived and well packed a few days after ordering it and setting it up was simplicity itself. You undo two screws at the bottom, then fit on the base and refit the screws to hold it. Put the two supplied AA batteries into the remote, plug it in and your up and running. I must admit, I wasn't quite prepared for the ease, simplicity and instant heat so quickly. When you press the on button on the remote, one segment comes on. Press again and another - four in all segments light up and you feel the heat instantly. Press another button and it oscilates slowly from side to side. The last button determines how long you want it on ... Read More:
