I wanted a small portable radio mainly to listen to while getting ready for work in the mornings. One that I could keep mostly in the bathroom & that could be used with batteries, so I could take from room to room without the hassle of mains leads etc.
I have seen a plethora of DAB radio's recently so thought I'd give them a try. I didn't want a 'Brick' that seems to be all the rage in the DAB world, so when I saw the dinky 'Pure Move' I thought it would be pretty much ideal.
I wasn't wrong, as it truly is portable - it is small enough to carry in a coat pocket & the inbuilt lithium rechargeable battery gives a very respectable 40 hours use, which for my measly 30 minutes each morning equates to over 2 months between charges. ... Read More:

Lots of features but no punch on sound even w/ 'Bass Booster' equalizer on iPod.

Sound lacks decent punch but that's only to be expected for the size and price.

Unbearable to listen on/above 25 vol. (max is 40!).

It kept us awake all night w/ interference (loud) noises every now and then.

After 2-3 days it is unbearable to listen to a cheap & plasticky sound.

So too expensive for what delivers. (which isn't much).

bouhgt one from argos today very good....my robi is paired with my ipod video it was no trouble setting up and worked as the manual said it would.
the features ,,,DAB..FM..REMOTE ,,worked as xpected and it's shortcomings are like any other device of the same type..reception will depend on the signal strength in your area...dab will crackle a bit if you are on the move and fm reception is par with most fm receivers ..the remote works quiet well but don't xpect to b able to xplore all the sub menus on your ipod...yes it seemed a bit xpensive but dab devices generally are!!apparently it's not compatible with the latest ipods so if you have a classic or the latest nanos check first!!

Had one for about 10 months now. Well built and very good sound quality, even when used in an internal bathroom (I live in SW London so assume DAB signal is pretty strong). Some small but annoying criticisms though:

1. The necessary charge pack battry is a rip off at £27 extra
2. When powered by battery it has a stupid double-press on button to turn radio back on (press once and it turns off again, need to press twice at carefully spaced interval)
3. No ability to have alarm cancelled at weekends so you need to remember to turn it off every Friday and bakc on Sunday night

I have just received this as a present to ourselves for use on holiday, at home, away in hotels. And it seems just great. It feels very well made - robust and good quality but still compact enough. It is easy to use with a very good FM reception - better than our portable Sony. And the sound quality is really superb for the size of the radio.

The designer should be really pleased with themselves, and we look forward to years and years of no batteries, using the solar power, wind-up, and mains rechargable options as convenient. 5 stars plus!

This is a really nice and 'simple' product to use.

Tuning is easy because it has the 'old fashioned' analogue dial. It makes finding a station simple.

The on-off switch is big and on the front of the set. The radio uses regular 'AA' batteries, which seem to last forever. I bought one of these radio's for my wife - she uses it in the kitchen every day, and to listen to when ironing. The on/off switch is really useful when the phone rings and you have 'kitchen' or 'garden' fingers - you don't get the radio all messy or wet!

My mother-in-law liked it so much that we got her the same model for her birthday, and it also lives in her kitchen most of the time.
