I brought one of these for myself around a month ago as I was getting fed up of having to wear headphones all the time listening to my iPod whilst I was doing painting and decorating (my Job). I thought when I received it it was a bit 'cute' to say the least!!! But having used it every day, I most definately would say it's brilliant. It runs off 4 AA batteries (which I have two rechargeable sets of them, so I always have a charged set) so I don't need to find a mains socket to plug it in to to use. Its extremely rugged (I've dropped it a few times). It sounds really good providing you set your iPod EQ to a setting with a lot of bass, and it plays to a loud volume without distorting, also It keeps my iPod protected in a solid foam nest inside ... I don't usually write reviews but this product and supplier warrants it. I had done some homework on prices and functionality and this product fitted the bill exactly ... but would the supplier? The answer was a resounding yes on both counts! The product turned up very promptly, was easy to charge up, and very easy to tune in. Personally I found a "quiet band" on my car radio, then tuned the MP3 transmitter manually to that "station" .. bingo .. in business. Street cred with offspring now who blast their MP3's through the radio on the school run.
