Ordered through 'esaver' (one of the amazon additional buyer options) and was delivered promptly.

Very happy with the dock. Solid build quality. The dock adapter that came with my ipod (30gb video) fits straight into the base without having to fiddle about. The ipod feels well supported when docked.

The RF remote is fine. Works through walls (although I have limited need for this functionality!). I haven't tested the 50' claim but it works from any angle within the room, which is about all I need it to do.

Sound quality through the supply cable is good. Video quality is better than I expected it would be considering it is encoded video being watched on a large screen. The bundled lead can be plugged straight ... Read More:

This is a great product for those like myself who download a lot of movies and had enough of converting files to dvd etc etc...
This sits next to my tv nicely, i have the ethernet port connected to my router so i can play files from my laptop or other pc's or copy them to the unit.
Copying files is easy, since the latest firmware upgrade you can copy files from other machines on your network.
The only prob i have with this unit is it runs a bit hot and the remote does not work as good as i want but it's nothing major.
If you buy this make sure you get the firmware upgrade straight away, the menu's are greatly improved and look a lot better.

This is great, it does what you need with an easy to use screen that gives high quality images and videos, you can pay a lot more and get a lot less, I recommend this highly as well as feastronics that gave me excellent service and super quick delivery. No i'm not a director of the company but I do like a deal, and these are rear now days.

This little adaptor which is basically what this item comes down to will easily connect to your TV/DVD/Sky via the component cable leads/Scart adaptor to allow for recording/playback.
It is basically a moulded plug that will connect to the underside of your Archos 4 gen. I have a 404 camcorder and it allows me to playback home movies/record last nights sky. It has the input for a charger power supply so that your archos doesn't run out (but not the transformer). I bought the cheap PC adaptor ( called the docking adaptor) as well as this not only gives easy PC interface but also a power supply that you can use on this device (as the USB on the PC will charge you archos when connected to the PC). Limited functionality makes it difficult to reach your preferred tracks.

Quite large for an mp3 player, and prompted my virus scanner to "go ape" when I first plugged it in. If you buy one be sure your PC security is up to date!

Dont buy unless you have a lot of patience and money to waste!! Often hangs on bootup and requires a number of resets for it to boot (its done this from day 1, but steadily getting worse).

Now its stopped detecting any SD card (tried 4) and reports a card error every time. Very disappointing because what it claims to do would be great if it worked properly!!

Sending it back under warranty and see if their customer service is any better!!

I bought this as a present for my little sister who is interested in photography. I was a little worried by poor reviews of this product on the internet, but was very pleased with the camera when it arrived.

It looks fantastic, with a glossy black finish and sleek modern design. The photo quality is also great, although it does not perform well in low-light conditions. Colour-reproduction is usually accurate - if a little dull...but then what more can you expect for a camera at this price?!

For the money, the camera is brilliant, and the SD card provided is enough to store all your snaps (although you can upgrade if needed). The video recording mode with built-in microphone is also a plus, although the sound quality is very tinny.

Archos Audio/Video Travel Cable for AV500

I bought one for my Archos AV700 and because it sticks out of the unit at a perpendicular angle it snapped clean off. So I now have to buy another one as well as writing a long letter to Archos.

Unfortunately it's a necessary evil if you want to use the AV functions of the unit.

I recently bought a 405 30gb + Gen5 Video dock and was looking for a convenient charging device as I am shortly off to Greece for my hols. I didn't want to take the Video dock as it is, although light in weight, quite large!
This item does what I want it to do and more. I have transfered pictures from a Nikon using the cameras own USB lead. Also photos from a Canon camera using the docks lead with the smaller usb connector attached to the camera. Saves travelling with different leads doing the same job. I also found that the videos taken with the Canon (very good quality btw) also transferred perfectly. Indeed using the camera as a card reader any files can be downloaded to the unit. I had an Archos Gmini 400 which got squashed in transit. I almost bought the 402 because I missed it so much but for £10 more I went for this.

I have absolutely no regrets.

The first thing to say which I have not seen mentioned anywhere is that you can play the video back through the TV with a simple lead. I used the one that was included in my Gmini pack and it is almost (but not 100%) DVD quality.

Second, it is very easy to burn your DVDs (only for your own use of course) and convert them into AVI files. Then the quality is wonderful.
