I Brought these headphones from amazon, expecting them to be good, but i was not prepared for just how great they are, I have a great sound system at home, that sounds great, and i found it hard to find headphones that lived up to the same quality of sound, but these headphones really do, they have a great warm sound that still manages the complete accuracy you want from a pair of expensive headphones. the only thing is i want to upgrade now to the more expensive se530s. These headphones are so good i am intrigued by the better models. The good thing about these headphones is they are not dual drive so the sound does not seem to be separated, which i believe is a problem with the se530s. i hope these headphones last forever.

I got a Pinnacle Soundbridge at Christmas, and having ripped most of my CDs to MP3 (only joking, if you're reading this, BPI), I was faced with finding an efficient way of digitising a large collection of vinyl and tapes. I could do this on the computer, but it was time consuming and prevented anybody doing anything else while recording was going on. Too much multitasking, and the audio would suffer.

MZR900 Personal Minidisc Player

I bought one of these a while ago and it is absoloutly terrible! when you are trying to put music onto it you have 2 listen to it at the same time! Hence the no USB bit! and the battery runs out very quickly! Not one to buy, especially at that price!

life revolves around compramise.

You can have a 20gb iPod and get 1000s of songs on it but you will experience terrible sound and poor apple quality

on the other hand you can have a sony hi-md player. Because it is a sony product it will last until eternity and a day. The sound is 10 times (really) better than any mp3 player even with £100 headphones.

Mini disk players can also record from line in which i find useful for recording from the radio of a movie soundtrack.

Hi-md can do this but they can also sync with a computer using sony's sonic stage ( i use 3.4 but it comes with 3.0 ).
