I was unsure about spending as much money as this on a minid disc player, I was put off by the fact I had to record all my CD's onto minidisc and thought about getting the sports CD player instead. I have to say this was one of the best buys I made. The mini disc player looks very nice and the sound is excellent. I would reccomend buying alternatve headphones and the ones supplied have a slighty "tinny" sound and are not that great for running on a treadmill to. With the CD supplied I have a choice of how many tracks I would like to store on a dics. With the long play option I can store 3 compliation CDs onto one minidisc which is excellent. They say that the quality will be slightly compromised but to be honest, unless you are an absolute ... Read More:

I bought this minidisc player a couple of weeks ago. I have had many CD players but this thing is far superior. I thought I would buy an MD player, get up with the latest technology but i had no idea that MD players were this good. I would have bought 1 years ago otherwise. The sound quality is great and you can fit more than 4 cds onto 1 MD. The digital mega bass is superb as it really emphasises the backround sounds. I would recommend anyone to buy this product. PHAAAT.

Sharp MD-MT877HS Minidisc Recorder

Little to say which would sum up this recorder/player. A man who has had nearly every Sharp recorder, this has to be my best. Looks great, sounds terrific and has been trouble free and pocket friendly. Love it!!

I was dubious about buying anything other thatn Sony minidiscs, but i was pleasently suprised to find that the quality diffrence is hardley noticable. Given a choiceI would still purchase sony but if i got these at a good price I would have no hessitations.
