I don't normally do this but I find I am more and more taking note of customer reviews in my buying decisions so its only fair to contribute.

1 The T10 looks great and is just a feel good piece of kit.
2 The unit does smudge from fingerprints but this is easy to wipe off.
3 The user interface is a touch panel of 7 buttons that is better for people with smaller fingers than mine but no great problems merely a slight annoyance.
4 Really easy to use and hooks up with Windows media player with no problems. Haven't bothered to use supplied Samsung Software to date. The user interface is really quite intuitive and I have rarely needed to refer to the supplied manual on the software cd supplied.

I ordered the Zen stone because the reviews had led me to believe it was cheap but reliable and easy to use.

It took 10 days to arrive, but it did appear to be very straightforward: I plugged it into my computer and discovered right away one really stupid design flaw: it's made so that when it's plugged into a USB on a laptop, it automatically goes face down.

But, I could access the drive immediately and upload a lot of albums - good!

The next morning: it wouldn't play.

It took a surprising amount of time to discover via the "Knowledgebase" on the website (since the stacks of paper provided with it had no information about what it might mean if the LED light wasn't visible) before I figured out ... Read More:

It does the job but I really thought the View would be better.

On the plus side, it's a sturdy player with good capacity at a reasonable price - and the microSD slot works very well (better than Creative's effort). The radio also seems to work fine.

However, on the negative side, the awful fast-forward function (no progressive acceleration if you hold the FF button down), along with NO bookmarking function, makes it impossible to listen to podcasts or longer recordings. The firmware is also very buggy (if you buy this, make sure you download newer firmware from the site) and the navigation is a little uninspiring.

I was totally fed up with mp3 players freezing up. Especially with radio podcasts which can go on for a couple of hours or more.
This was my last shot and after 6 months or so, this little gem has never given any trouble - even after being left in my work jeans, put in the
washing machine and going through the longest wash cycle and a 1200 spin for luck.
Ok, it's not got a screen, but I'm used to that now.
Highly recommended.

I got this delivered on the friday at 9am by 12pm i was on the phone to philips direct and suddenly whilst on the phone the thing came alive after sitting untouched for half an hour. I decided to try it over the weekend. Monday morning i try to charge, again not working!! On the phone to philips again plus emailing, they confirm the thing isn't working properly! It is rubbish takes about 2 mins to load up and is annoying to use as the screen doesn't flip with use. Absolute garbage i am never touching philips again! Oh and the phone system they have is crap too! Very bad product pay the extra for an ipod!

Bought this DAB portable radio and found that the reception on many channels was poor. When storing preset stations and then selecting them, the radio would play a different channel to the one selected! It is easy to accidently
press the scan button only to find you have lost all your stored stations.
The battery life is very poor so use rechargeabe ones but need to charge each day by removing them and placing in a seperate charger!

Would not buy another one.

I bought the Samsung 8GB T10 about 6 months ago and I thought now would be a good time to write a review!

Usability:
* The menu is so easy to use. OK note to women who are thinking of buying this, not the easiest to use with long nails! But you soon adapt to the touch pad!
* Bluetooth is really good - one of the reasons I was reluctant to move about from Sony Ericsson Walkman phones was because I didn't want to carry a phone and a mp3 player, so the Bluetooth was a big seller for me as it has a built in speaker too and is easily connected to my phone.
* The unit can only be charged via the USB cable. Takes about 2 hours to fully charge the battery. Only downside to this is that you can't play the T10 whilst charging.

This is a really solid little MP3 player. It holds a decent amount of songs and since your PC will treat it as if it were a portable hard drive all you need to do is click and drag files back and forward between your music folder and the MP3's folder to make transfers which is extremely convenient. The sound quality is pretty decent on the headphones provided but I found that they wore out in one ear after about six months and would highly recommend a pair of 'Sony MDR-E818LP Acoustic Twin Turbo Headphones' if this happens to you since the quality is fantastic and you can pick them up pretty cheaply. The MP3 uses AAA batteries which makes it very convenient for travel purposes since you can pick them up in any garage or corner shop if you need to, as well as meaning that ... Read More:

A great little unit comes with a remote controller which is not always mentioned but very useful. Controls are well placed and easy to use. I could have wished for a slightly better tone but mega bass is available which makes a lot of difference. I really congratulate Sony for using re-cyled cardboard packing instead of that ghastly plastic foam which gets everywhere these days. Just missed giving it 5 stars because the price is just a tad high for the speaker quality which one gets.
