Have been keeping an eye on these earphones for quite a while and finally bought them since the earphones coming with my iPod really tortured my ears and I couldn't endure any more. As long as I plugged these Sony earbuds, they gave the music that I've been listening a new style! Matching the price and the extension cable gives flexibility. The only thing is that the bass quality is a bit of a shame, could be better. But I accept this since they are only EARBUDS, what else could be demanded?

These headphones really have to be heard to be believed. I cant believe the sound quality on such inexpensive phones. If you can live with the retro look these really are a must buy. They even come with a handy pouch to store them in when not in use.

Sony have made these with longevity and sound quality in mind, as i have had mine for a year and they are still going strong. But they are starting to really get on my nerves. The first flaw is the length, on their own they are too short, unless you are about 5 and have an incredibly small torso, or if you don't mind holding your mp3 player everywhere you go, looking like a proud schmuck. So Sony added an extension cable to it, making it unbearably long. Ahh but what's wrong with long wires? These wires coil and knot with great ease, making a wire penis hang out of your pocket, don't act like you don't understand. So yeah, small torso or don't mind wire nobs? go for it.

Wow, i had never been a fan of this type of headphones, always had traditional one's....But after reading reviews like this i thought i would try them, worth every penny, sound range is superb, the next ones up give better bass, but by playing with your system equaliser that solves that problem...make sure you buy the clear ear buds from shure, they are a better fit than the supplied buds...

I bought this for my creative zen 8gb and it works just fine i was worried about it paying but it is really easy and provides great sound for a bargain player. i have a nice stereo downstairs and i rarely use it but now with my mp3 player upstairs i use it all the time it is really loud for the size of house we have and i would recommend it. i don't doubt that better exist but if it is jut for use within a room and not for a party then this is as loud as anyone could want. Are there better systems ....yes of course but how much do you want to pay? 15 sobs and I am happy as larry...simple (big plus for me it works with my zen as nearly everything is advertised with ipods...cool looking but expensive and you can't add memory...buy ... EXCELLENT CANS. SPOT ON. CANT BELIEVE THE PRICE. WOULD HAVE PAYED 2 THE PRICE. ANYWAY STOP GABBLIN ON I'M AWAY OUT WITH THE DOG AND MY MUSIC. AS USUAL EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM AMAZON.TA VERY MUCH.

12 pounds is too much for these headphones. after a few weeks of use the sound started to interrupt. there is absolutely no insulation from environmental noise.

Greetings everyone.

It's been about 4 months since I bought this earphone, and I'd say it's fantastic.
The sound quality is very good, the ear buds are very comfy and hold the earphone tightly in place without annoying you, which is a serious problem for people like me because of the shape of my ears' ducts (I've tried other brand-name-types and faced a lot of troubles trying to make them fit and hold position in my ears). Also the buds provide good noise isolation.

It was my friend who recommended them for me, and I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for comfortable, high quality yet low priced earphones.

Greetings everyone.

It's been ten days since I bought it, but this headset is really cool. The previous reviews are good, but I didn't expect the headset to be better than what was described.

The mic. is of a good quality and the earphone part is loud and clear in addition to the missing info in the product detail that this set can be modified for right or left ear (Cool, isn't it!) and the cable is about 1.8 m long (practical if you move around a lot during voice chats).

However, I gave it 4 stars only because of the size of the earphone (it's a bit bulky for the ear) as well as the restricted movement of the mic itself (Yes, you can bend it 'a bit' towards your mouth). And for a person like me, the earphone size can be annoying if it's bulky ... Read More:

Choice of headphones is a very personal thing but these are the best I have ever had. Full stop.

The choice of fittings mean you can get the perfect fit for you, the volume control is really handy as is the clip so you don't have wires trailing everywhere.

But the sound is just fantastic! I listened to Revolver by the Beatles and heard things I have never heard before - and I've had the album on vinyl and CD and must have listened to it countless times. Plus the headphones really cut out external noise - even on a busy tube train.

Only negative comment - the little case split after just a month but it's still usable. And maybe it's my fault for cramming it with other accessories as well as the headphones.
