I have bought several pairs of headphones to replace the very poor Apple earphones supplied with my ipod. These have included the Sennheiser PMX70's, the Creative EP-630's and a pair of Beyer Dynamic DT311's. These replacements did sound much better than the Apple earphones, however they are no match for the Koss KSC75 headphones. These headphones produce a very detailed sound with plenty of bass. I found the highs a little prominent, which for me gave a slightly thin sound to some vocals. Having said that the sound is superb in comparison to the other items headphones I have mentioned. At first I found the headphones a little tricky to put on but found they were very comfortable once in place. Pound for pound I cannot recommend these headphones ... Read More:

I bought the HD485's to replace a pair of Sony headphones (MDR-XD200) which I do not use any more - they are uncomfortable and mid-range with little bass. I prefer a good supply of bass and these HD485's - although not as much bass as the Sennheiser HD465 - are more than suitable for my tastes. In fact, these HD485's are more expensive than the HD465's and so leave a deep impression of class, balance and comfort. I use these for my amp and use the HD465 for my computer. The only negative about these phones is that when I turn the volume up very loud there is a tendency for distortion, and so they get a four star rating as opposed to a five star. But regardless of that, I am more than happy with both these phones and so I am now a follower of Sennheiser ... Read More:

Having been delighted with the performance of the smaller PXC250s I bought a pair of PXC350s so that my wife and I each have something to use on flights and coach journeys. For the last few days I've been able to compare and contrast the two sets AND pester my wife for her opinions.
Sound Quality; I can't honestly say that the more expensive model sounds better ... they both sound excellent. However, the PXC350s enclose the ears and so the music comes from a 'place' that is a little off or away from the ear, rather than 'on' the ear and I prefer that. The slight 'hiss' that can be heard when the noise canceling is switched on is far less noticeable on the 350s perhaps because of this. Sennheiser have also reduced the hiss by comparison with ... I bought these from Currys in an emergency when my other headphones failed (they cost £45 and were less than a month old!). I was annoyed to see that I could have paid £8 less by buying these ones from Amazon.
I really like them as they fit really well, are comfortable and rarely fall out
The sound is really good and mine came with four sizes of ear pieces and a carry case to stop the wires from getting tangled.
They also are available in other colours.
Highly recommended
I bought these headphones a while back and have only just thought to do a review, whilst they are good with a good sound quality the durability is questionable at best, they broke after a few weeks and it wasn't like i was throwing them around, your better off spending a bit more and getting some more durable ones
After trying to listen to podcasts/music on my iPod while travelling on the train I was getting annoyed with not being able to hear anything, yet the rest of my fellow passengers could hear everything.
So bought these in ear buds, and what a change!
1. I only have the volume on 10%.
2. I can hear everthing on the train, no background noise plus I don't distrub other people.
They are really comfortable, however bewarned you may not hear traffic when you are crossing the road.
Inexpensive, comfortable and better than iPod regular earphones!

I am not a bass fanatic, but the bass from these was weedy, even for me. The noise cancelling feature does absolutely nothing, as far as I can hear, apart from adding some background hiss. I suspect that the efficiency of these earphones probably depends mostly on how well they fit in your ear. I just about get the smallest size in and I wouldn't say they were comfortable. I've had a better listening experienced from headphones costing much less, and I haven't got any (apart from these), that cost more than ten quid.
Never have I come across a set of earphones before that have actually made me gasp in disbelief. These are just astoundingly good. I cannot recommend them enough. I have been using a very decent set of Sony bass-boosting earphones, which I thought were fantastic due to the lack of tinny treble, and the whomping bass. Unfortunately, they had a very high degree of distortion, as many earphones do. These Shures have hardly any distortion whatsoever. Listening to Supermassive Black Hole by Muse (a particularly difficult track to play using my Sonys), and even with the bass turned up to 11, the Shures just lap it up. Perfect sonic quality, even at loud volumes. I found this staggering, especially from a pair of earphones that have only one driver in each bud.
