I purchased these headphones today for travelling & using around the home, as shortly I will be flying UK to Australia for a holiday & needed something to help endure the journey. So I did some research on the internet, & found that the Sennheiser PXC 450 came out on top. Tried them out & 5 star quality perfect sound quality along with being solidly built. I connected Sennheiser PXC 450 headphones to my Sony NWZ-A818 to enjoy listening to Dire Straits Brothers in Arms in sheer perfection & tranquility, as well as Kevin B****Y Wilson as I enjoy a good old fashioned laugh as well. I also love the talk through mode so you can listen to your favourite albums & talk to people directly at the same time. The headphones also ... Read More:
These are designed for quite large ears, if like me you are a girl with medium/ small ears then they may be uncomfortable. The images makes it look as though the angle of the actual speaker pieces are adjustable, but in reality they are not and for me were not very comfortable.
On the plus side I found the sound quality ok (however I'm not especially picky on this), and the phones do not have any earpiece covers that could come off and get lost.
When i first bought these i was amazed with the comfort and weightlesness.
After a while the rubber innerds made my ears itchy and sore. soon after i lost the inner rubber rings, after which the metal protective disks fell out which made them more uncomfortable. The guard above the pin that goes into the mp3 socket became loose, the ear piece lost shape and the slider kept dropping.
In all fairness i should have gone with another pair, these are not all their cracked up to be!!!

Got these a week ago, they fit in the ear nicely and give a very good sound and at £25 they're worth every penny. Don't know what the previus reviewer is on about. Also about the cable thing, do you really need instructions?
I first bought this product mainly for the adaptor, as I had recently purchased an MP4 player that had a 2.5mm earphone plug. The adapter works perfecty and does exactly what I wanted it to. The earphones, however, I weren't so pleased with. They felt like when you put them in, your ears were completely clogged up. Then again, I purchased this for the adapter, not for the earphones that come free with it.

I own the logitech Premium 350 headset and bought these hoping to free myself from the wires. However the wireless product at 3 times the price sounds utterly dreadful in comparison.
A simple test listening to an Mp3 from media player and you can hear breaks in transmission to the headset.
Playing WoW and using the in-game voice chat the difference in headsets is palpable in the depth and richness of the sound from the USB vrs the distorted shallow sound and microphone quality from the wireless model.
Am following up with Logitech to see if the huge drop in quality is the price of being wireless or if the headset I have received is faulty.

Good:
This low priced headset is light, surprisingly smart and well made, and comfortable. Ears get warm after a while of course, but that's all. Whilst the sound quality doesn't satisfy the audiophile in me, it is none the less excellent for playback from computer; high frequencies are clear without being shrill, the mid range pretty transparent, and whilst the bass response isn't subwoofer deep it does strike a good balance between being deep and engaging whilst not being odiously overbearing considering the listener has a couple of cans on their head. VoIP telephony and speech soundtrack recording have shown the microphone to be perfectly effective for these tasks. The boom is also easily adjustable for length as well as being folded up vertically ... Read More:

I have to agree with a number of other reviewers - if you take the time to get the right fit then these headphones deliver wonderful sound BUT both I and my sister have had problems with splitting of the insulation/covering close to the buds. Neither of us is careless or heavy-handed but you can't avoid the damage as either looping over the ear or winding the cable in the case eventually takes it's toll. It's sad to see this basic design flaw & I hope someone from Shure reads some of these reviews to ensure that future products don't suffer from this problem.

ok, this is not a top of the range earphone, but it does give a decent sound quality. it tends to look poorly built, but so far I have not had any problems with it.
it is not sound isolating, which is not very good, because when you are listening to music, you will still everything around you, unless you put it on full volume.
the volume control button seemed useless to me, and a bit annoying cause if your earphones are in your pocked or something, it might turns it down, so everytime you gotta check to see if it is on high.
Not bad for earphones, they do the job required, the sound quality is OK, but my old Philips did a lot better job, for almost the same price.
if you want very good earphones, invest a bit more and get a better one. if you want ... Read More:
