i just got this recorder and find it superb. the device is tiny, light and "dupont lighter"-stylish. i particularly like the metal buttons, much more tactile that plastic one - i know it is a small thing. I like the five-line display which provides a lot of information compared to another device i used.
now for the great part, the integrated micros are great, and the stereo effect is really a bonus. This is especially the case if you later listen with earphones.
the time elapsed versus the length of the file are displayed clearly and legibly.
i did invest in a little carry case and i am glad i did because that way i can throw the recorder into a bag and still keep it pristine.

Arrived within 2 days... excellent service.

Very pleased.... nice quality little case and fits my 818 perfectly.

No problems with the hold button...the case allows for this. The case must have been redesigned.

Screen protector - it's a small firm plastic sheet that sticks to the screen... I am not going to use this)

The product itself would have been fine. However the product delivered was damaged. The UK power piont had been forced into the package and damaged the item.

After three weeks and numerous calls a refund was paid but we were still charged a delivery charge.

I would not recommend this supplier.

Excellent purchase, crystal clear sound, quick & easy, install & use. Ford Ranger with 2 gear sticks to worry about with fag lighter position but, no problem. (PC World price promise, easy ennit)

If like me you're thinking of these for use with your iPod, it would be a very wise choice. What I love about these phones is the blended approach of the sound and the physical design of the earpieces, which result in something that's really a cut above your regular in-ear ten quid jobs you pick up from Currys each time your cable wears thin / you leave your headphones on the tube, etc.

What they do is bring together the sound into a gorgeous and rich whole. What you don't get is the thumping base, piercing treble and headache-inducing mid-tones of most "high spec" in-ear phones that almost split your music into too many disparate sections. SENNHEISER - CX 400 Headset - black

The 400s were presumably created as an update/upgrade of the 300s. The one discernible change from an excellent product is not the sound or the fit, which I continue to love, but a completely stupid change to the cable. It comes with a short little cable which from personal experience is too short for: Ipod in trousers; Ipod in a jacket pocket; Ipod in an exercise armband; Ipod on the table in a plane, Ipod in a shoulder bag. In other words almost any way in which you would listen to an Ipod. So you can put on the 1 metre extension which flaps about, has a heavy connection plug, catches on things, gets hopelessly tangled up and is generally a complete pain. I agree with M Byrne. Stick to the CX300s.

Delivery was very quick and arrived well packaged.

Bought this to go with Apple ipod classic 80GB I have just bought. Rest assured I did need a charger. Find it very useful when I am out and about, and at home, if my ipod needs charging. As chargers go it is okay and I am extremely pleased with my purchase at this price.
