This is in fact a Motorola recharger with a similar connector ... but for some reason this is omitted in the product description!! Whether it does harm to the navman battery in the medium/long-term, I don't know, but I'm not willing to find out!

After a year of abuse the display on my old stone 2gb finally died, so I bought the new improved model with the microphone. It has all the good features of the old one - reasonable sound quality and its incredibly easy to use. It also has the bad features of the old one - inability to shuffle properly, and it really does need recharging quickly.
I don't really see the purpose of the mike - perhaps its a gimmick supposed to appeal to kids, as but they'll insist on having an i-pod anyway due to peer pressure, its a wasted feature in my opinion.
I use my stone when I'm out running - the new model is far too bulky, so I've (sadly) given in and bought a shuffle - which does what exactly what it says it will and doesn't need recharging ... Read More:

Excellent piece of kit

Before it arrived i was wondering how it would work if you put your tv into 'sleep' mode ... ie it turns itself off after 30, 60 90 mins etc

It has its own infa red receiver which 'sees' when u press the tv power button on the remote ... so I was thinking it might not work if the sleep function turns off the tv

well im happy to report that it does .... it also monitors the power being drawn from the tv mains socket and when that reduces it turns everything else off too ... and i have to say it works absolutely brillianty

This feature does however have a slightly unwanted side effect for Plasma TV's

LCD TV's should be unaffected (although I have not tested this), ... Read More:

This is great!

The cable's built quality itself is amazing - it's sturdy, well made and you can tell it's quality by the weight of the thing. The cable does not bend or kink like cheaper cables would, and the shielding is really evident. It's shipped basically in a plastic wallet to save on costs; something I have no complaints about. Verbose packaging never made sense.

The picture quality, ah yes! The picture quality is top notch too, can't fault it. I own a Series 6 Samsung 37" and a Samsung BD-P1500/XEU - Blu-ray Disc Player and it connects them beautifully and the quality is stunning. The opening scenes of I Am Legend (the Cityscapes) blow your mind with the contrast, colour saturation and overall quality.

I don't know why people are talking about them scratching, not had any probs with that but then I do have a classic which is mostly metal.

I think they're great,a nice simple way to protect your ipod & it means you don't get a nice piece of apple design and then encase it in a bulky anorak case. Plus you get six, so I've given a few away too. If I'm sitting at a table or syncing or something I tend to use the sock as a sort of 'mattress' to put the ipod on to protect the back. It kind of cleans the ipod a bit too. I really like them, they're a nice simple solution, I have a similar thing for my ds.

One thing though... remember not to stick your ipod in your pocket upside down! once the sock has stretched a bit the ipod can ... Read More:

I bought this to hold my ipod shuffle whilst I run. I know that the shuffle itself has a clip, but I find it difficult to clip it high enough up my clothing to avoid having yards of wire dangling about whilst I run. It's also handy to have the shuffle somewhere it's easy to skip tracks and adjust volume, rather than clipped to the back of my shorts.

In retrospect I would have preferred a plastic node to wrap the spare wire round, but in the end I just wrap it round the armband itself. All told, a useful little item that's well made and easily adjustable. (A word of warning - if you're like me, you'll need to wash it regularly and it will attach itself to your sports socks.)
