The unit works fine apart from the mentioned short mic. The unit is not sold as being waterproof. A bit of a problem given our climate in the UK. Warranty claims means the unit has to be shipped back to the USA

Cardo Scala Rider Teamset Motorcycle Bluetooth Helmet Handsfree

The Scala Rider Headset came with the Tomtom rider 2 and is virtually imposible to fit to my Schuberth helmet. If it is stuck on it hangs below the bottom edge of the helmet due to the design of the headset, so the helmet will no longer fit in a top box, although the weight of the helmet is enough to unstick the headset. The unit comes with microphone, which is not detachable, so this is always stuck to the helmet, until it all falls off again ! In my opinion this unit is a very poor design and not really suitable for the intended purpose

No problems whatsoever hooking up my Q2 to the GPS and to the pillion Q2 unit however it was all pointless... The sound quality is poor to the extent you cannot hear anything when you are doing speeds in excess of 30mph, and that's without earplugs. With earplugs, I found you have to be stationary and still struggle to hear the other person whether it is from the other Q2 or telephone call.
