Sandisk 2GB Secure Digital Card

Bought this to fit in my Canon PowerShot A470. Once slotted in, it immediately allows around 1000 photos to be stored on the card, surely more than enough for anyone. Can store copious amounts of video too.

Memory cards are all much the same these days as they are so affordable and plentiful. Sandisk have positioned themselves well in this market providing a good range of reliable cards. Even still, this 2Gb card is very good and does exactly what you would hope such a device would do.

What can I say, Nice Card works well in my Garmin Nuvi 760.

I see some bad reviews on SDHD cards this is because it is a new format, not all SD Card readers can see SD HD, even though they are physically identical. This includes new devices being sold here, read the device instructions / specifications first then place your order to make sure it will support the card, and don't be too surprised if you have an existing bit of kit that won't see it. If you have any doubts buy a 2Gb SD card as most SDHD readers are backwards compatible and will see it.

In the case of Garmin check out the website FAQ this is the only place where it says max size is 4GB SDHD.

Fantastic value. Works in my new Samsung S1070 camera.
Cant fault it for the price. Will be ordering more soon.

SANDISK MICRO SD 2GB CARD

This micro sd card arrived without its sandisk packaging it doesn't have a serial number on it either, checked on the sandisk website it appears not the genuine artical. It seems to work ok though.

SanDisk Cruzer Micro 8GB U3 Readyboost Flash Drive

Having a 4GB Cruzer c/w U3 software, I decided to also buy its 'bigger brother'.

Unfortunately on my Vista machine, the U3 software won't load; this means there is no way to safely "Eject" the drive. Simply removing the flash drive risks long-term damage to the drive & my data.

OK it stores reams of data, but if that data is at long-term risk, I cannot recommend this drive.

Pity, because the 4GB version + U3 software is superb in every way.

U3 works OK on my XP PC.

SanDisk Extreme III SDHC 4GB Card

This is an awesome card without a doubt! But beware as mine didn't come with a 'dinky little card reader' as reading some of these reviews you might expect (i.e. previous 20MBPS version did come with case, reader & software) this confusion for me totally defeated the point of buying it for use as a fast memory stick which is expandable - doh! Regardless it is still an amazing card and the latest formula 1 edition too :) NOTE: PLAY still offer the previous version with the benefits for the same price so its a matter of how fast you wanna go ;)

SanDisk CompactFlash 4GB Extreme III Memory

Sandisk Extreme III 4GB CF Card
Shipping: arrived via free delivery earlier than expected.
Condition: all advertised items present and all in perfect condition, fully sealed.
Performance: used twice since receiving and been very happy.
1. Wedding shoot. Used in conjunction with other 2GB cards. Shot on this card last and fired 183 hassle free RAW files.
2. Model shoot. 3 days after the wedding. Shot 245 RAW files and didn't skip a beat.
Overall: Excellent. It does what it says on the box - 5 Stars

just the perfect thing for my canon powershot, the speed performance is better against normal sd cards and value for money, i got no issues regarding compatibilities. The amount of storage is fab specially for people who like taking loads of pics. So i'll recommend it to anyone who wants fast and reliable performance in an sd card.

......... You can't buy better than Scandisk, there are cheaper ones, but, are they reliable? Why not pay that little bit more and get peace of mind!
